This bar is perfect. BEST PRICE I could find, anywhere. Plus, I wanted a 5 foot bar, for easy use in my home gym (also called the second bedroom when we have guests), and this works great. Same top quality bar, same standard grip width as 6 foot bar, but easier width in house for maneuvering and storing. I read reviews of OTHER COMPANIES that supplied equipment where the paint chipped or were poor quality, so I was ready to give this review, one way or the other. Turns out this is the quality equipment, best price, delivered as advertised. It's what we are all looking for, every time we shop online.

UPDATE: I ordered another 245 weight set once again (because I needed some more weights for my home gym), and this time I completely regret my purchase!! This time it never shipped. I finally cancelled my order with amazon, but after it was cancelled they RECHARGED my card a few weeks later. Excuse me, I didn't even know a company could do that?! And to top it all off, when I disputed the charge with my credit card company they used the purchase receipt from my FIRST order to say that the charge was valid. PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW. This company is terrible. Spend your money elsewhere, it's not worth the headache I'm currently dealing with. I just want my $400 back. Or the weights to ship to my house. Really either one would be fine, but at this point, it's been 3 months, and it doesn't look like either is going to happen.ORIGINAL REVIEW: They took WAY longer to ship than what they say. Like a whole month longer than the estimated shipping time. And when I got them, I didn’t even get the correct style. But the quality of the ones I received was still really good. And for the price of these weights I still don’t regret my purchase. Just wish whatever company ships them would be a little more organized.

I was a bit worried when the package arrived. I ordered the 85 pound set (2 x 2.5/5/10/25). ALL 85 pounds arrived in one very flimsy cardboard box. The box was completely destroyed. It did have heavy plastic bands around the box to attempt to keep the box together. The plates were packaged into tightly fitted cardboard boxes with plastic bands inside the exterior box--those boxes held up. Surprisingly, all weights appeared undamaged. So my complaint would be in packaging and shipping. UPS tracked the package as weighing 106 pounds which is too much to send in one box. I think my UPS driver would agree, because he placed the box right in front of my front door so I couldn't get the door open. :)The weights themselves appear heavy duty and quality construction. I've yet to use them.

Shipped immediately. Perfect for a make-shift gym due to Covid. I’ve lost hope that we will have gums here in SoCal before summer 2021. Thanks politicians.This thing is great, and there’s no need to spend more for an Olympic since I’m not doing massive bench presses or squats. Just enough to stave off atrophy. This thing will last quite a long time after that. AND, now I can just squeeze in a quick super-set after a bad conference call!

I’ve been scouring for a decent priced bar for quite a while now. I’m recovering from some injuries and working on rebuilding my body from scratch. The bar is an ideal weight and size for me and I love it!! And a plus is my son who weight trains actually felt it’s a good bar. So I feel good about my purchase and the product!!!

This bar is solid and in only one piece. I purchased the 5' bar with 1' diameter in chrome and it has a great finish and plenty of grip for the hand areas. I needed the shorter bar to fit between the cars in my garage "weight room". It fits my weight bench perfectly and should have enough space on the ends for what I can lift. It came relatively quickly given the rush for everyone to buy weight equipment.

I purchase the 5 ft bar and it has a weight of 10lbs and it is perfect for me. The grip of the bar is good and fit my hands so it is not uncomfortable like other bars I have tried. Plus I can easily load up more weight on it and it takes it.

The product arrived on time as shown and defined in the Amazon description. Quality is high. No rough or sharp edges. Would buy again even though things such as weight bars are usually a lifetime purchase.
