Family fun and some
This is a great family game for toddlers forming their identity and nurturing their care for others them as they grow. A useful tool to help their development in a fun way, but ultimately its a board game in our house there for fun and enjoyment.

Needs more tokens
Out 2 year old loved the game but with only 14 tokens we could not finish the game with three players. Would love to buy more tokens to complete the game.

Too basic
I loved the idea of this and hoped we would be able to discuss what could help in each tricky situation eg if someone has fallen over a plaster would help, but maybe also a hug, or sitting / talking with them until they feel better - ie multiple solutions. Unf this game gives the tricky situation and also the picture of the solution, so it becomes a game of match the pictures rather than try’s discussion. A shame as I thought the premise was excellent - we returned it as soon as I saw how one dimensional it was. Look at Race to the Treasure for an excellent game from the same brand.

Not good
Like all peaceable kingdom games, this is beautifully made and presented. However unlike the others I have, it is quite boring - a simple pairing game. I realise you can talk to your kids about the kinds shown, but there is no challenge -Nothing to make them think. Even my two year old was bored by it.

Good idea--but way too boring.
This game is so incredibly boring. There is nothing to it.

Great for a 3 year old
I bought this for my 3 year old grandson as his first board game. Upon receipt we played it twice and when his parents came in he played it again with them. Instructions were easy to understand and it prompted conversations in feelings.

We play this often
Bought this when my daughter was 2 and she still loves it almost 2 yrs later. Great for teaching empathy. A quick game that doesn’t make parents feel like they need a drink before playing.

A Must Buy!!!
Let me start by saying, this game is absolutely awesome! I bought this to play with my 4-year-old daughter and she absolutely adores it. My daughter has some speech delay problems, where communicating is not easy for her, so I bought this game to try and get her to talk more and express her feelings. This game is targeted at analyzing the feelings of others, in this case, the characters in the game, and then fixing their problems to make them happy. It comes with several game boards and each game board has 9 squares. Each square itself has a different character with a different problem and a little rhyme in it explaining the problem. The game also comes with a very cute small draw-string bag with little tokens in them. On one side, each token is red and on the other, it has a picture representing a square on the game board. The game also comes with a red stop sign that has 5 circles numbered 1 through 5 and a little booklet with pictures and text matching each square on the game board. You draw a token from the bag, and if there is a matching square on the game board, match it, and if there isn't, put it on the stop sign. The game ends when either the stop sign is full or the game board is full. This game is a great game to practice communication. The point of it is for you to ask your kid questions about what is going on in each square. There are no predetermined questions so it really is free to interpretation and you can ask any questions you want. What I really like about this game, apart from the emphasis on communication, is the emphasis on identifying emotions and helping others. It's not a competition game - it's a cooperation game. All players work towards the same goal, which I really like. This game is a must buy!!!
