This backpack in person has a beautiful glittery thread. This means that glitter doesn't actually shower your house, Yaaaay! It's durable and you get plenty of value for its size. There's extra padding for the shoulders and the back. The size is perfect for elementary up to I'd say about third grade, depending on your book load. The straps are tightly woven and easy to clean. There's a buckle on the shoulder straps for extra stability. Plenty of pockets for storage. It even comes with an extra loop so you can attach a bent go lunch box to the outside. The zipper seem well made and the tabs for the water bottle holders on either side or adjustable so you can tighten a strap to the water bottle for security. Backpack is made of a tightly woven canvas that seems easy to clean with a delightful glitter thread interwoven the bottom seems to be made of a durable canvas as well.

My son started school this year and we were on the hunt for a book bag that was big enough for school folders, but wouldn’t be too big (he’s only 4). This book bag fits the bill perfectly. The straps are well padded and so is the back of the bag that sits against the back. It has a chest clip so it doesn’t fall off and tons of space inside. It has two pockets inside the main compartment; one is the full width and depth of the book bag and one is divided into two slots for smaller items. The two front pouches are a good size as well. It’s made beautifully. All the stitching is very strong and reinforced. I was an L.L. Bean book bag (amazing bags) kid growing up, and I would definitely say the quality is comparable. I would say this bag is big enough and sturdy enough to last until at least fourth grade. The print is absolutely adorable as well.

I purchased this bookbag, the matching lunch box and water bottle for my granddaughter going into kindergarten. It’s the perfect size for the little ones and has room for everything she needs. I like that the matching lunchbox attaches to the bookbag. I have purchased bento lunchboxes in the past and they’ve held up longer than one school year. Bookbag appears to be the same great quality. Allowed Granddaughter to pick the color from multiple choices. She loved the bright pink with rainbows.

I bought this backpack with matching lunchbox and water bottle. Good quality and texture. The backpack is standard size and a folder will fit inside without needing to fold it. Perfect for school age kids in grades K-2. My son loves it.

***UPDATE #2 - 2024 end of school year****After using the backpack all year long - even with the two holes on the bottom of the bag - the backpack actually held up extremely well for the entire year so much so that I'm thinking of using it again for the next school year. We washed it in the commercial washer (high spinning) and it came out perfect. Revising my review back to 5 stars for durability, fabric resistance to fading, and convenient and study side/water pockets.I do recommend this backpack. It's sturdy and the bright colors did not fade with the sun nor with the wash cycle._________________________________________________________**UPDATE Sept. 2023**My son has been using the backpack for 4 weeks, purchased 5 weeks ago. The bottom of the backpack has 2 small holes. Extremely disappointed. He only carries extra pair of clothes in there and a paper folder. Oh, and small water bottle on the side pocket. Nothing else. Not sure why this is already coming apart if it is inside an indoor cubby all day.I could not return or obtain an exchange because I PURCHASED it more than 30 days ago, even though we have used it less than 30 days.****************************We looove this backpack! The cute bug design is different along with the vibrant fresh green hue. My 5-year-old loves it. There is plenty of space inside for extra set of clothing, folders, and can fit a lunch bag, with room to spare. Has two outer compartments for either pencils, snacks, pencils, or whatever. Also has to outer side pockets for water bottles.The straps are nicely padded and wide. It also has a chest clip which is helpful because my kindergarten is small so it helps him carry this well on his back.Get this backpack - everyone will adore it.

I worried it would be too small for my third grader but it works great! It has smart storage inside and in the front which makes it seem roomier than other backpacks. It’s really cute and seems well made. Highly recommend!

I bought this after seeing the reviews. But I think you can purchase good bag less than this price. It's pricey and it's a regular bag not worth $ 40. But it have more room.
