I really enjoy Twitty and Sylvester
I grew up watching these, and so glad they’re back the way they were. They are funny and entertaining sure maybe a little violent, but have you seen some of the movies nothing like that in these

I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat: The Classic Cat 'n' Bird Chase
I know many other reviewers are disappointed by the Winter 2010 release of this Looney Tunes Super Stars dvd edition, but at least one should consider this perspective: it is far better than many other classic cartoon compliations. In this 15-cartoon collection dating back almost seventy years, you will be receiving the following:1. "Tweetie Pie" 2. "Bad Ol' Putty Tat" 3. "All-a-Birrd" 4. "Canary Row" 5. "Putty Tat Trouble"6. "Room and Bird" 7. "Tweety's SOS" 8. "Tweet Tweet Tweety" 9. "Gift Wrapped" 10. "Ain't She Tweet"11. "Snow Business" 12. "Satan's Waitin'" 13. "The Last Hungry Cat" 14. "Birds Anonymous" and15. "Tweety & the Beanstalk."P.S. Other than a "Yogi Bear" movie trailer, there aren't any special features.Yes, several of these wildly hilarious cartoons have been released to DVD or home video before. Here's the upside, though: this relatively low-priced collection is really meant for those consumers who either didn't want or, more importantly, couldn't afford a set of the "Looney Tunes Golden Collection." Enjoy these wonderfully timeless cartoons of the hapless tuxedo cat and the not-quite-so-innocent canary with a youngster who has never seen them before, and see what laughs and smiles that Sylvester & Tweety can still evoke. My only suggestion is to find a great sale price first.Rating: 10/10 (appropriate for all ages).

Great cartoon fun with Sylvester and Tweety
I have always been a big fan of Sylvester the Cat. This has some of the best of the Warner Brothers cartoons featuring both he and Tweety Bird. From the first to the last the antics are fun to watch. And although Sylvester is essentially the bad guy, he just wants a snack. But Tweety has a torture for the poor cat at every instance. The reason I like Sylvester is that he always tried his best, got up after a beating and tried again. And although he never succeeded, there were a couple of times that he saved Tweety from gangster or other evil menace. There is one annoying aspect to this DVD. It has an opening comment about the films and the perceived prejudices of the era each cartoon was made in. The annoying part is that it sticks and won't release to the menu page. I have found this also in the Daffy Duck DVD. Best to try another reader and get to a chapter index and work your way thru to the main menu.

Some of the funniest Tweety vs Sylvester capers!
Short volume of the very earliest Tweety vs Sylvester capers -- plus the first intro episode featuring Granny-- (with her broom)!

This is one of the best cartoons; it was made in the "good old days"
An absolute joy for 7 yr olds and 70 yr olds. These were quality videos made in the old fashioned way, not the kind of junk that is peddled nowadays as cartoons with negligible movement, wodden facial expressions, and stupid story lines. What was done in the old days was done by dozens of video craftsmen working with cels, not a single geek working on a laptop. The top quality is instantly visible. A pure joy to watch such funny storylines with characters that appear to come to life.

this DVD covers many of their adventures and the restoration is perfect.
Sylvester should have caught and devoured Tweety...he worked his paws off trying...give the cat a break. Seriously though, this DVD covers many of their adventures and the restoration is perfect.
