Plus, they provide a cozy warmth and are thick enough to break in new pair of shoes.They slouch very nicely and are a perfect length for the boots. I plan on getting more in different colors. I have been looking for these socks for a long time. I hope to order more. They are thick not that cheap knock offs. They are versatile. Can wear as knee socks or slouch socks. I'm very happy. I try to only wear them when I'm going some where. I'm really hard on my socks. I splurged buying them I was able to buy 5 pair. But at $8.00 or $9.00 pair there in a higher class then my poor pocket book.
