Fit very well in 24inch children bike
Easy to assemble, feel sturdy and the bike is stable with the stand, it is also adjustable, very good product.

Well made and easy to fit
Was a bit unsure if this would be suitable for my grandsons' bikes, with them not being full size. However, I took a chance and ordered two if them, thinking, if only one fits I could send the other one back. Glad to say they were perfect for both bikes (my grandsons are 10 and 7). Good quality product from Raleigh and easy to fit and adjust. Very good price, too. Highly recommended.

Seems good value, but had to adjust for old narrow bike or the pedals hit it
This seems to work well, is easy to install and adjust, and seems fairly solid.I was looking for a kick stand that lay very flush to the side of the bike when retracted, because my daughter's old bike had a narrow pedal axle and the previous stand didn't work because the pedals hit it when it was folded up. This one was better, but still just caught the pedals slightly. What I had to do was put a thin piece of wood underneath one end of the fixing, forcing the kickstand to clamp down at an angle. This angle pulled the kickstand slightly closer to the bike frame when the stand was folded away, keeping it out of the path of the pedal arms. A bit of a fiddle, but it is attached firmly and now works, both to stand the bike up, and to get out of the way when retracted.

doesnt have a protective washer for paintwork
Extremely sturdy. Other ones were a 3/4 rectangular shell, or the bracket was too bulky and would press up against the gear selector cable that ran through the bike frame!. Worse case scenario, the extension arm, if it was too short, could be replaced with a metal rod and a hole drilled through and pinned. Surprised there was no paint protecting washer. I guess some tape will do. I like the narrow top bracket, which allows for any cabling. So long as your frame hole is OK, then this is easily the best one available...

It's OK
Cheap, easy to fix, but it keeps twisting.I've fitted this to a Ridgeback Panama touring bike. It doesn't matter how tight it's bolted or how close to the bottom bracket is fitted, it still twists on the frame. Also if it's fitted too close to the bottom bracket it gets in the way of the front gear cable. It's OK. It does s job but I'm not happy with it.
