Industrial Vintage Brass Pendant Ceiling Light Lamp Holder Antique Retro E27 Fitting M0010-AB

As part of our lounge remodelling, in which we were going for the industrial look that seems to be the style right now (not that we're into this sort of thing, we just like the aesthetic) we'd originally replaced the horrid light fittings with a more simple hanging pendant which we got from Ikea, which looked right in the shop, but never seemed to fit properly in our home. I eventually got fed up of how grating it was to look at them not fitting properly and I decided to get something better. These looked like just the job.First impressions are, these are a really beautiful fitting. Yes, I know it's odd to say, but these were far more in keeping aesthetically than the ones we'd bought previously. I was a bit concerned about the "antique brass" look as sometimes this can look cheap and tacky, but these look really lovely, actually looking more like aged metal than something crafted to emulate it. There's a good weight to them, too, heavy enough to be sturdy, but not so much that it would rip out of the ceiling once we attached the shades to them. You can also adjust the length of the cable, so it's higher up against the ceiling - very handy for a tall person like me.They are a bit fiddly to install. The wire connector is a bit too close to the edge of the rose and, since the other end is fixed in place with strips of copper, bending it too much wasn't an option. The screws to attach the rose to the ceiling mounting plate were tricky to get in too, especially as the weight of the bulb socket was pulling down on the whole thing. But once in place, they looked absolutely fantastic.I'm really happy I bought these. Not only do they fit better than the Ikea things, they look much nicer and were cheaper as well.

Great looking product, pretty easy to install. My only complaint would be the fixing bracket seems a little flimsy but hasn't caused an issue. Very happy with the product so far

This is a good quality vintage style pendant lamp holder for standard Edison screw bulbs. It comes with basic instructions and screws and wallplugs. There is about 1.3 m of cable which can be shortened relatively easily; there is strain relief for the cable by means of a plastic grub screw on the ceiling rose and the lamp holder. Fixing to the ceiling is by a metal bar and the ceiling rose attaches to that.The lamp holder has a threaded ring so a lamp shade can be attached if required; the lampshade will need a hole about 42 mm in diameter. Once fitted the lamp holder looks really good.

I am happy with the look of this, however it is not a quality product. it uses a very basic choclate block for the connections.However, the was easily enough room to mount an mk module from a donor basic white pendant ontop of the mounting bracket. it is fully concealed within light fitting and makes a much better connection, especially if you have a spur off from that light.

Absolutely stunning addition to our living room. The braided cable is mega long so will suit any ceiling height. I personally shortened it to fit in with the usage of the area. Very well put together and marked very well to aid with installation. Would I but again?? Absolutely!!

I got this to go with and oversized feature Philips light bulb, because the bulb was so big I had to shorten the length of the braded wire considerably, this was quite simple to do. Needless to say the bulb screwed in without issue. The vintage finish looks great and it’s just what I wanted.

This light fitting gives a really lovely vintage feel to a modern E27 Edison bulb. It was really easy to fit and comes with loads of cord so that we were able to add a couple of extra ceiling hooks to position the light where we wanted it. We chose a decorative type bulb and left it bare, but the fitting does allow for a standard shade to be fitted, and any E27 LED bulbs would fit. We're really pleased!

Third one of these light fittings that I've purchased, easy to install and shorten if required. Excellent quality and value
