Beautiful but runs extremely small!
I am 5โ5โ and 125 lb and I am usually a size small or medium for shirts. After reading the reviews, I ordered a size large and it is slightly small! In ballet class, I find myself needing to adjust it after port de bras etc. I will still wear it because it is so beautiful, but if you are looking for a classical leotard for ballet training, you will definitely want to size up at least 2 sizes in order for it not to ride up/ pull down.

Nice quality
I just received the Leotard, the quality and size are good, too bad the liner material is in node color, so it makes looks like off white, I need it for my recital, I need an all white Leotard.

Pretty Leotard!
I didn't see the reviews before buying (my mistake) so I bought a size M, my usual size, instead of an sizing up to an L. I was genuinely scared it wouldn't fit after reading Capezio runs very small, however it fits really well! The shoulder straps could be a bit longer, but leg holes and general fit are good and it's a sturdy, comfortable leo. For reference, I am 5'3" and 148lbs.

runs small, but is fantastic
My daughter wore this in a recent Circus Arts competition and it was perfect. Fit well, shelf bra was great. It does truly run really smallโmy daughter is an XS or S and the medium fit perfectly.

EXTREMELY SMALL
The size guide recommends you size up 1. Fry sizing up 2!! Iโm usually a XS or S. A medium is still too small. I donโt have a long torso either. This is womanโs sizing yet fits like a childโs

Daughter has been using this leotard for years
My 14-year-old has been wearing this style for a few years now. Bar none, it is the most comfortable and flattering leotard out there. Let me just address one complaint I am seeing from a lot of buyers about it being too small. Yes, it is, so size up, but a lot of people are ranting about it not fitting their children. It is not advertised to fit kids. It is an adult leotard. The picture shows an adult. When my daughter was younger I stitched the back of the sleeves up. My daughter actually slimmed out over time, so she went down to the extra small, and then as she got older went up again to the small as she grew. For reference, she is 5'4 1/2 and about 90 lbs. I no longer have to stitch up the straps. What is nice about it is that it is supportive.I understand what some people say about sheerness, but that involves a couple of things. First off, dancers are not supposed to wear underwear under a leotard so no prints should show through. It is supposed to be tights and the leotard. If the dancer wants to wear this without tights for some sort of dance class (my daughter does ballet), maybe that would be an issue. As far as the bust area goes, she loves the fact that she is supported without having to wear a bra. She has one in pink and nothing shows through. Without getting too detailed, I think it will depend on the dancer's "coloring." Enough said. My daughter is pale. So, maybe I would think twice about purchasing if a dancer thinks a light fabric would have a see through issue. My daughter has none at all, zero, and she has had many light pink ones. Again, I just read that on other reviews. Personally, she loves the way she doesn't have to think about support or pulling on straps. Also, my daughter tends to not like a ballet leg as she likes the look of a higher cut leg, but even though this is technically a ballet leg, it isn't too much so. Also, it might just be the way it fits her a bit high as she is slim. It might not be as high as cut on other dancers. I would say she looks similar to the model in the picture but younger. The thing is, if you like support without having to wear a bra, this is for you. Some reviewers say it is tight in the bust area. The alternative is not to have a support and jiggle around. She has a required ABT "leotard" at her new studio for most classes and she needs to wear a bra. Just a head's up on having this leotard for years.

Definitely sized on the smaller side
I sized up because I know Capezio runs small, and it did. Even sizing up one size it's a little snug but doable. I like that it's cotton and the neckline and straps are flattering.

Darker than expected
I thought this leotard would be like a candy apple red, but itโs a bit darker (more of a cherry red). But other than that, itโs perfect :)

Gorgeous red
It fits great , just a little too loose in the chest area for me. Other than that perfect fit

The straps are nice, it fits well.
It's a great leotard. At times it does slip more onto one butt-cheek or the other, and requires some adjusting, but that might just be my body.

Is perfect because she can move and is always in the right place

Great leotard! My partner is a dance teacher
Great leotard! My partner is a dance teacher, and I have never danced in my life. I bought this leotard so I could participate in adult ballet and dance classes at the studio, and was thrilled to find out I not only DIDN'T look bad it it, but I actually looked pretty good! I'm quite a curvy dancer in comparison to most dance type bodies trying to be prepared I took my measurements and bought a large, as I am 5'2" about 145lbs and a 34DD - being busty and athletic can be a problem, but this Leo fits well and is my go to dance outfit I'm a lifeguard, so I'm used to high cut suits and tight fabrics. But this was really nice! The lining is very flattering and the fabric is thick and durable, but doesn't cling to my body the way a swim suit does. As a non-dancer going out on a limb, I was very pleased with the quality of this product as well as the shipping and care I recieved! Great product, great company! Would definitely recommend!

Good for the price
The body suit as per their sizing guide and the quality is pretty good for the price. Only thing I didn't like is the fabric is not what I was expecting, it has more of a cotton like texture vs a smooth soft texture like most dance body suits. Its works for what I need it for but softer fabric would have been nice. The bra is also just a shelf bra with elastic at the bottom so it doesn't offer a lot of support if you need it. I added soft cups to the shelf bra to mine for a little more coverage.
