This Wimaha brand Snorkel Set for Children (model: Snorkel-2) is only very slightly lower price than adult snorkel sets, yet appears to have slightly lower quality components: the 'squeezy' (silicone?) snorkel tube is probably adequate but may not function as well for as long as the rigid snorkel tubes of adult snorkels, but only time will tell (but I suppose the children will either have acquired adult gear by then, or lost interest.Overall, I think this snorkel set should serve adequately well to introduce youngsters to the joys of snorkelling, viewing the seascapes, marine creatures, wrecks even maybe under the surface of water.I would have thought the nose clip & earplugs provided unnecessary, but they may help to reassure a child on their first few snorkelling sessions, especially if they can be encouraged to dive a few feet below the surface.A handy storage & carry bag is provided with the snorkel set, net in the middle for ventilation & drawstring at the top.Happy snorkelling, kids!

The diving goggles provide a clear, anti-fog panoramic view, and the dry snorkel ensures easy breathing. The only minor flaw we noticed was that the strap adjustment on the diving mask was a bit tricky to manage initially. However, once adjusted properly, it stayed in place throughout our snorkelling adventures.

This has everything you need for a first snorkel set. We are still working on getting our child to follow the instructions properly but the kit seems to be good and doesn’t let water in. It is a tad flimsy in places so I do wonder if it will start to leak sooner rather than later with regular use.

I got this for my 7 yr old great nephew who’s going on his jolly’s soon….though would be a good idea to get him swimming under water….The set consists of goggles that fit over the nose as well…a snorkel ….nose clips and ear buds….Plus a bag to carry everything in….The goggles look well made…the bit that goes over the nose and around the eyes is very soft silicon…so should be nice and comfortable to ware…the head strap is also silicon and easily adjustable….the clips on the side of the strap where it makes them bigger or smaller for the head size seem a bit loose…The snorkel is silicon….and can be clipped onto the goggles….As with the nose clips and ear buds….all soft …Overall a good set and ideal for a beginner…

We got this for an upcoming holiday in the land of beaches and sunshine, but have tried it out in the local pool. It fits both my twelve and ten year olds nicely, and I imagine the colour will blend in well with the warm surroundings and décor once we splash down for our holidays. They'll have plenty of fun with this, diving under the waves to spot fish and shells.
