My 4 year old granddaughter has many, many books on her shelves to choose from. But she keeps asking me to read this one with her! I don't mind rereading it at all—this book has interesting and important information about how different foods help one's body and mind function optimally. I learned new facts, too! The writing is clear and easy to digest (pun intended), and the illustrations, which turn vegetables and fruit into characters, are clever and great fun.

Kids (and parents) will eat this book up!
What a fun and engaging way to show kids how colorful foods help keep them strong and healthy. Organized by food color, Buzzeo shares what each food does for our bodies as well as the name of the important nutrient. Who knew that kale “helps your skin make a scab” and blueberries “keep your kidneys strong so they can turn the liquid you drink into pee.” I love the simple and often hilarious illustrations, which personify an actual photo of the food item. Kids (and adults) will laugh out loud at the rollerblading piece of kale and the blueberry peeing! In the back, Buzzeo provides food alternatives—perfect for picky or allergic kids. This book will inspire lots of little ones to embrace more fruits and veggies.

We really enjoyed it! And the graphics are so cute! It really motivated my 6 yo to eat more veggies. Thank for doing this great book!
