Continental Race 28 700x25-32c Bicycle Inner Tubes - 42mm Presta Valve - 4 Pack w/ Conti Sticker

Obviously Continental GP 4000's are very highly rated tires but the sticker is absolutely life changing. I won't consider any other tire until they get a handle on their sticker technology like Continental has.

Valve on first one I tried is bad. Can't remove the pump without losing 10% of the air. Haven't had the same problem with prior tires. UPDATE: First tire popped after about 50 miles (3 rides). May be due to underinflation from bad valve. Valve on tire #2 is definitely better, but not happy tire #1 was worthless.

Continental is an old and trusted brand for many riders and I have used their tires and tubes on many bikes over the years with no issues.Unfortunately, this particular set of tubes seem to have somehow missed the quality control step in manufacturing. Directly from the box, two of the tubes had valve cores that were barely screwed into the stem-one of which fell completely out of the stem when I unfolded the tube.Of the four tubes in the set, one valve core was unusable (not the one that fell out, that one worked fine after screwing it back into the stem). On inspection, the little black rubber seal had traveled up and was stuck in the barrel of the core and would do so every time that the pump was put on. I replaced it with an old core that I had and the tube worked fine.The final total out of four tubes was two with loose cores and one with an unusable core-not a big deal when replacing tubes at home as I was, but what a hassle that would have been if I'd been out on a ride and depending on one of those for a spare.I don't know that I won't buy Continental again, but this was disappointing and turned what should have been a couple of easy tube replacements into an exercise in frustration.Edit-just to follow up with this experience-another of the tubes turned out to have a leak at the seal around the stem and was unusable.That pretty much does it for me-no more Conti products on any of my bikes. What a disappointment from what used t be a solid brand.

Absolutely the worse, cheapest pieces of crap! And who in the heck closes return a month out from purchase date! Three out if four burst within minutes of installation. At first I thought it was a rim or tire defect, but upon inspection the blowouts were not coordinated. Therefore, crappy material.

Couldn’t help but laugh when I opened my package of 4 tubes to see that one box had been already opened, and a second box had been opened and marked with “HAS HOLE”. Okay...so why did it make it into my delivery? Why would I want a tube with a hole in it? I’m skeptical about the other opened box too now. The other two I guess I’ll still use, but the two that have already been opened I’m throwing out. Pretty disappointing since I paid for 4. Just not sure how this made it into my delivery at all. Absolutely absurd, but kinda funny honestly.

I bought a four pack, and three out of four were defective. I haven't tried the fourth yet. First one was completely empty less than 24 hours after installing and deflating. The second one was so badly shaped that there were flat spots after inflating. I took it off and inflated without the tire to make sure I wasn't installing wrong, and the tube is all different thicknesses and has excess material in spots. The third one is on the bike now and lost more than 50% of its pressure in a 25 mile ride, starting from 70psi. Don't buy these!

There are solid, reliable products. You can go lighter with latex but will have many more punctures or you can go tubeless but you will have all the messy sealant business to deal with. These are certainly good enough for daily usage. Coupled with a good, puncture-resistant outer tire like Gatorskins, these tubes offer consistent value.

Been my go-to brand for years! Never any issues with quality, including the replaceable valves.I only wish they made shorter stems for this model (25-30mm) which would make inserting them just a little easier and less of an antenna tower sticking out.
