Oster4172 10-Speed Blender Kitchen Mixer, 220-volt (Not for USA)

I bought this model blender in New York a few years ago for my place of work. We are all very pleased with it and when we needed another blender, were happy to find the same model. It has a strong motor, a good range of speeds, and it stands up to the demands we make on it. It suits our needs and the price is right. In our opinion, this is an excellent product that gives value for money and we recommend it highly.

This blender pretty much gets the job done. My only complaint is that it is a bit noisy, but the next best option I could find available in South Africa or in the US in 220V was 10x the price! As of March 2014 this blender is still going strong. I now wear ear plugs while blending, just to be on the safe side. Any cheap ear plugs from CVS or similar store works.

The blender capacity is a bit smaller than I anticipated (1.25L) but it works amazingly well - makes very smooth, yummy shakes. I have been using frozen berries and it has no problem blending them.I have very limited kitchen space so appreciate that the base of the blender is relatively compact and that the blender jug is not that tall. The blender easily fits on my counter top, under my kitchen cupboard, without taking away precious work space. I also like the fact that the jug is made of glass - very sturdy.

Being able to have an American style blender overseas is great. We are glad we finally bought one. The price was very reasonable compared to what we could find on the local economy. The blender is made well, and serves it's purpose. It is a bit noisy, but it's a blender, so that's expected.

Works great. It does have a rattle sound as if something at the bottom got loose in shipping or maybe that's the way it's suppose to sound. Other than that, my sister in Germany is very happy with her new product. This was my gift to her.

I bought this for the glass pitcher. Most are plastic. Have had it a few years. Still works well with my smoothies, and mixing drinks.

works fine, i have purchased used one which was really like new. Cheap and high quality!
