Great way to save money
We buy primal cuts and butcher them up at home. Plenty of YouTubes on how to do it.

It's ok but could be better
It's a cheap knife. I bought an ergo chef chef's knife years ago and thought the brand was solid. Turns out the handle gets slippery with no grip and ergo chef doesn't have a sheath to buy to protect the blade or my knife roll. Overall I think I could have done better buying from some other company.

Heavy duty fork
This thing is well made. I was looking for something strong to turn heavy meats on the grill like turkey or pork butts. You won't have to worry about this fork bending at all.

Too Bib
I love using it but too big for house use… very sharp

This knife is perfect for the novice carver
Always had trouble carving a standing rib roast. Ending up cutting thick slices and having shredded edges on the slices of meat. Not any more! This knife is perfect for the novice carver. Got thin slices with perfect edges. Got compliments on the presentation. Price is modest compared to other comparable carving knives. A little surprised that the knife was made in China but that didn't seem to matter. I've had carving knifes made in Germany and some old ones in the US that were terrible. Be a sport and buy the Ergo Edge Protector for $5.93. It's a good device and the carving knife has a very sharp blade. It protects the edge of the knife and your fingers. I can't wait to try it on a turkey or chicken breast. I've always made a mess of carving them.

Top not quality for the price
The item is sturdy for professional Butcher cutting. Each and everyone of my meat cutting butcher colleagues are impressed with this knife. It’s 12” large size is just right for cutting the most prominent meats: Beef, pork, chicken, lamb and all seafood! I used it for 3 months before having it sharped. Be sure to order a good quality diamond steel the routinely realign the blade.

Great Knife
I purchased this knife after trying it out at a friends house. Since we do a lot of cooking in our house, we have numerous knives from different companies. We have a few knives that we use to carve or slice meat that work well but aren't meat specifically for meat or the knife is over 40 years old. This knife worked so well the first time I used it. I did slice my finger on the blade right by the handle but it worked so well, it didn't even hurt. I'm really excited to continue using this knife. I would highly recommend this for people who cook with meats on a continuous basis. I would also recommend purchasing the cover for this blade to prevent any accidental finger slicings

Slices meat thin, the right tool for deli style meat slices
I spent the last two weeks doing research on how to achieve thin meat slices looking at $300-700 dollar meat slicers. The conclusion was I should give a slicing knife a try and I settled on the Ergo Chef for value and couldn't be more thrilled. It's an excellent tool, very well-designed and I look forward to slicing more roasts with it. I sliced a pork loin very thin and you know when you have the right tool. The difference between a chef's knife (even razor sharp) is significant. No need for electric meat slicer with this.
