This unit didnt work out of the box. Tried for an exchange. Have to wait 48 hours for seller to contact me back. And then I can do the whole return/ exchange. What a joke. Specs look great so if you want to gamble with your pool season buy it . If not buy something elsewhere

bought on dec. 17 2003 it is now 3/4 2024 and I have been checking for a couple of weeks had water tested and chemicals are ok but chlorine maker is not working need a replacement

Bought this and does not work , Amazon does not offer replacement on this product , and the manufacturer has a bogus phone number sent a email so we will see if I get a response .

After a year of use the flow sensor when out. But can be bypassed. Open the face of the controller 6 screws located under the 4 corners and 2 in the center (hidden under the controller sticker face). Once opened trace the wire from the flow/cell plate to the control board (4 wires). The 2 smaller wires that are flow on the board you will need to cut and wire them together (creating a closed circuit). This will tell the controller that there's water flow all the time. Re-install controller case and place back on the pool. Put your salt water cholrinator and pool pump on a timer. So any time your pump is on so is the cholrinator.

Very well made. The design of the Control Board makes reading the timer, chlorine boost setting, self clean and power button easy. There are LED lights that show that the generator is working and also shows sleep mode. There are LED alarm lights for low flow, low salt, high salt and low light. The entire system is designed well and easy to operate (after the learning curve which I am not finished with). This salt generator works for in-ground and above ground pools and spas (very versatile). I don't have a pool but my aunt does so we hooked this up on her pool and the performance so far has been stellar. Now she doesn't need to add chemicals that were irritating her skin and eyes. Instead she will add salt and this generator will make chlorine from the salt (should be much less harsh) If any problems occur I will update this review but I honestly don't expect any. Great Product!! Highly Recommended!!
