I usually the Collinil waterproofing spray. The reviews for this one encouraged me to try it. It smells worse than the Collonil but the water was beefing off the suede within 20 minutes. The other spray lasts 6 months so it will be interesting to see if this one lasts longer.

Very easy to use - goes on as a fine mist so no globules to deal with and it hasn’t darkened the roughout leather boots. I can’t attest to how waterproof or stain resistant it is yet as I haven’t pit it to the test - quite expensive at the time I bought it so I’m hoping it’s worth the money.

I used this to reproof some Salomon gortex boots. The waterproofing is astonishingly good - I submerged a whole boot in a deep muddy puddle but when I took my foot out, even the outside of the boot was bone dry with not a spec of dirt on it.The only fault is the spray cap is a little cheap - when I came to reproof the boot a second time, the can leaked torrents all down the side so I could only get about three sprays out of half a can before it was completely empty. It is quite expensive stuff though and I reckon I lost about a tenner's worth from the leak.

The item came very fast and this product is awesome.

I found that this offered very little in waterproofing qualities and I tried it with a number of different shoes and boots made from a range of materials. Also, the spray leaks tremendously from the spray head and more seems to leak on the ground than is emitted from the spray nozzle. Unfortunately, this really was a waste of money.

Works very well. Make sure you spray it in a well-ventilated area. I used mine in front of my open door but that is not good enough (for me at least). Still, the fumes have all evaporated from your environs after a few hours.It seems the waterproofing is perfect. I gave it a bit extra on the toes.

For a waterproofing spray it's quite good. Obviously it won't work miracles but definitely helps keep my puffer and suede jackets protected from soaking in a snowfall. Also works well in shoes. Now that if weather conditions are too wet then the spray can't do much.

What others have said about the spray can dribbling liquid all over the place is absolutely accurate. Ours sprayed only intermittently, most of it poured south onto our hands and onto the floor. Very poor build quality, returned for refund.
