This is great, high quality; attaches to the commode. A lot more support than the regular seat. Recommend for larger people.

I bought this seat to replace the seat that came with a new commode which was small, thin, and uncomfortable. It fits beautifully, is well made and padded for its intended use and as a chair! The removable opening fits snugly in place preventing odors yet is easy to remove when the time comes. It’s easy to clean with few seams to trap debris or dirt.The only downside to this product are the clips that secure the seat to the commode could be longer- they will come off the bar if the patient leans forward. The seat will come up in the back and may be unsettling though the seat stays in place.Over all I’d highly recommend this for anyone of any adult age who needs to use a commode, do yourself a favor and ditch the seat it comes with and enjoy a little comfort!

Purchased this for my elderly mother's handicap toilet. Searched all over and there is nothing like this. If you need a softer seat for your loved one that may need to sit longer, while you can purchase cushioned regular toilet seats, there was no solution for a handicapped commode. To get a better cushioned seat you have to buy and entire bed side commode. Other options are unsanitary cushions you place on top of the handicap seat, are not safe, and don't fasten well and you can't wipe off like you would a regular toilet seat. This purchased item has the hooks on the back just like the bed side commode seat and snap right in place. While it is not overly plush it is 10 times softer than a regular commode seat, and it appears to be strong and very well made. You can use it as the toilet seat or keep the middle piece in when you need as a regular chair seat. I rarely write reviews but am so happy with this purchase and would think others are struggling with finding this product as I did. My poor 94 year old mom will be so much more comfortable. Additionally it came right on time. I could not be happier. I thought it was pricey when I bought it but worth every penny! Highly recommend!

this is an updated review, I originally purchased this item and it did not fit the shower chair I purchased it for, not really the suppliers fault just one of those unfortunate things, the dimensions were the same as the previous seat I purchased from another vendor, and that one fit fine. Not sure maybe the brackets were spaced a little differently , regardless I requested a return. Initially the supplier requested that I return the product to them in China which I explained to them was not really cost effective. They agreed and we were able to come to an agreement were I would get a refund , without having to pay for shipping back to China. The customer service was excellent, the communication great. They resolved my issue in a very timely matter. Oustanding customer service

I did like this seat at first. It was nice and comfortable.Then one of the clamps on the back cracked off and then the plastic on the seat started ripping!

This pad has made sitting on the commode a whole lot more comfy for my very frail mother in-law. She didn’t want me to spend the money, but she is thankful I didn’t listen to her. I do fold a standard size pillow in half and place in behind her for back support. Highly recommend this pad.

I only gave this 4 stars because there has to be a better cover for the seat. Right now the cover looks like a bicycle seat which is good but it is not hinged. Just place the cover once you are done using the commode. The problem is if the cover is not in place correctly then it falls into the commode bucket which has not been emptied. The cover will fall into the commode bucket if you lift the seat to empty the commode bucket. The cover has to be removed first. Otherwise it is comfortable seat for my elderly dad to sit on when using the commode. He thinks the cushioned seat is great!

most commode chairs unless you spend 3Grand have terrible seats. I just got this one and placed on top of my current seat it's way more comfortable . the mounting brackets are a bit light weight fortunately i could just sit it on top of my current seat. the screws pull out on the brackets making it useless as a seat mounted to the chair frame. I highly recommend this seat if your commode can take it.
