The media could not be loaded. I need to open a CROC Accessory store. This is the 4th pair I have reviewed this year, with no end in sight. These are the greatest thing since, well, you fill in that blank. Every 'tweener here in town wants one, along with necklaces, pearls, even some anatomical things that I'm too embarrassed to mention!This particular pair is better than others in that it comes with CR2032 batteries and instructions. Before using you need to pull the little cardboard inserts away, and you are good to go. Then just press the lens face to turn on and choose from either steady light, or rapid flashing light, or slow flashing, and then off.Well made out of aluminum, and should stand up to even the heaviest use.OVERALL - Good Croc Lights. But hide them from your kids if you want them for yourself!

Fun to gift at graduation time. I got these to share with someone who is about to graduate from college…”so they can always see the path they’re on.”These are well made. When I tried to turn them on at first they didn’t work. I was so disappointed. I tried to open one up to troubleshoot. It didn’t open. Here is what I found…1. When unscrewing the lens end to get to the battery, you neede to push/pull when it seems to stop unscrewing. There is a rubber o-ring that got hung up for me.2. There is a tape on the battery that prevents it from discharging. Remove this tape.This is a fun little thing that can create a lot of fun and interaction.

As you can see from the photo, one croc light works great but the other one barely lights up. The one that does work has 3 light settings - one steady light, one rapid strobe and one slow blinking strobe. Disappointed to have only one of the pair work properly.

When I opened them they both had the plastic tabs which were covering the battery in each light. Once you pull the tab the battery is active. They are the thin little disc batteries that look like a nickel, CR2032.One light lit up nice and bright. The other light didn't turn on at all. I also noticed the little bulb inside was crooked. I happened to have a new battery that is a CR2032. I replaced the battery it came with and put in my brand new battery and it turned on for a few seconds, very dim, flickered a few times and turned off. It never turned on again. Needless to say I only have 1 working light.They clip to my crocs nice and firmly and perfect size but that's the only 2 positives.I'll get different ones that use a USB charger opposed to a battery.

The lighting is good but they're too heavy for the clip attached to the shoe. They come off easily while walking.

This light is ok but it is not mind blowing at all. Its more of a gimmick than anything else. It can be a fun little add on for a gift to someone who likes crocs. However I would keep your expectations pretty low with these things.
