Not what I expected or hoped for...
I was very excited to try this product. Like many others I had trouble with my analog sticks for my PS4. But it was ultimately let down by this item. When I opened my PS4 controller to switch out the sticks I found these incredibly tight and difficult to fit onto the controller stick bases. It's took an unreasonable amount of pressure to make them fit into place. I was very concerned about breaking mounts for the sticks inside the controller. But they managed to withstand the pressure that I had to apply to make the sticks sit deep enough to fit into the actual controllers them selves. It took a very substantial amount of pressure. At first I found them to be unusual feel compared to the original analog sticks, and I tried using some various methods to add friction to the top of the sticks where my thumbs came in contact with them, the basic stock feel of the metal is too slippery and needed something to help add grip. I attempted to use plasti-dip but it was not effective overtime because the plasti-dip would lose grip with the metal base in the friction of my thumbs, it came loose and started to peel.I have yet to find another solution beyond aftermarket thumb stick toppers that you can see many people of tried to use with these particular analog stick at odds. While they do look good and the texture around the edges of the stick is nice the center of the sticks is far too slippery and not very useful while playing games that require a lot of finite and precise movements.I have also noticed that one of my sticks, the right analog stick has seem to of lost a degree of movement in particular. When trying to move the stick to the right I find that it does not have the degree of movement that I find when moving to the left but also lacking the degree of movement that I find in the left stick going to left or right. I am not sure if this is due to the thickness of the stems of the stick from the top to the base or damages done to the stick control unit from the pressure that was applied when making the stick fit into place. I am very disappointed as I feel that generally they have a nice field and look but do not perform the way I hoped it would.Try at your own risk.

Really good sticks, be warned of color, however.
As is the popular thing to do these days, I bought these to replace my DS4 sticks. I've been playing on them a few days.Pros --Reasonably comfortable. I mean, you're playing on metal now, so they're a bit more solid. They feel a bit taller and the edges are ridged like a quarter, so it took a day of playing on it to get my thumbs used to it. But, the ridges are solid, the bowls are deep, and even with a bit of sweat the sticks hold well. I feel they may be a little taller than the stock sticks, however, but I didn't think to measure them.-Aluminium. It was always a sad day when I realized my nubs were gone on my 360 controllers, but I don't anticipate metal sticks to wear down any time soon.-Look pretty cool.-Machined well. No rubbing against the DS4 shell, like it's supposed to be there.Cons --Taking apart the DS4 is kind of tricky. This obviously isn't a downside to this product specifically, just the process as a whole.-They're metal. You might not like that. I really do like it.-They're lighter than shown. The product is listed as "Dark Grey" and they're really not. Here are two shots of my sticks, as installed - http://imgur.com/a/XIFTUOVERALL -I'd say either this or the Xbone sticks are good choices. I didn't know that you could do Xbone sticks until after I got these, but if I were to do it again, I'd get these. They're solid, comfortable, and they're gonna outlast my system, I bet. I'm mostly bummed they weren't the color shown. I would have done 3.5 stars if I could, but I think 4 stars is a stretch given how different the sticks really are.

Just buy them now
It seems that everyone is having problems with receiving a different color than described. I ordered the "Dark Grey", and what I got is more of a brown or bronze. I did get two sets though, so I could put them in both of my controllers, and the two sets I got match each other. So, be warned that the color might not be exactly what you're expecting, but buy them anyway. They're just that good.I did notice though that when pushed all the way to the side they touch the side of the controller. The stock sticks did not. This does not affect game-play in any noticeably way though, from what I can tell.I could never find any slip on rubber pads that would stay on. And the rubber on my controllers was coming off, so I had to do something. These are better than rubber. The knurling provides a better grip than the rubber ever did.The controller can be a little tricky to take apart - watch a video on YouTube if you're not sure. You will need a #00 Phillips screwdriver. Needle nose pliers will also come in handy for unplugging the ribbon cables. I did two controllers - one took some prying to get apart, the other came apart easily. They both went back together easily and without any damage.I didn't take a picture of the height of the original stick before installing these, so I'm not sure how they compare. I did include pictures showing the dimensions of the new ones though. They feel good, so if they are a little off from the original, it's not noticeable.
