I was looking for a SATNAV to take on holidays, so as not to use up my phone roaming data allowance on driving directions. I often find off-line maps on my phone to be slow to load, so wanted a cheap but reliable SATNAV. Unfortunately, many of the SATNAVs on Amazon had mixed reviews, so didn’t know which to go for. This one has mostly 4 or 5 stars from the 150 reviews on Amazon, but about 20% 1 or 2 star, which was a bit off putting. In the end I took the risk and ordered!It came next day and was in a nice premium quality box. The build quality is of the SATNAV is good and I found it easy to input destinations. It allows town/street, road intersection, postal code and also manual input with a screen tap at the place on the map. The screen is good quality, bright and clear and spoken directions are loud and clear. The directions also give over-speed warnings, which is useful in an urban area in a strange country.Overall the SATNAV is more than satisfactory, is easy to use and gets me to my destination.A couple of minor points :Battery life is only about 1hr (unplugged), but that should not be an issue as it comes with a 12v car charger, and I will invariably use it plugged in.The 240v mains charger that comes in the box is very low powered, so took ages to charge it ready for pre-programming my destination at home before I set off. When I used my iPad charger, which I think is 10w, the SATNAV charged up to 100% in about an hour.The SATNAV comes with an anti glare hood, which is a generic design, so is a bit of a loose fit and rattles. A bit of folded paper to stiffen the grip solved that.A good choice and excellent value for money.

Works well as GPS.A lot of features to customise, eg ETA at final destination or at next waypoint.Not the easiest to use and not completely intuitive, so expect to spend some time with it - I bought because I was fed up using a car satnav in a truck with different speedlimits and it's perfect for that.Downside, apart from the fact that it's a bit difficult to use, it has a few bugs in some of the map data but an update may sort it and it doesn't seem to have all postcodes.For the money an excellent bit of kit and I am strongly considering buying a second to replace an old Tom tom in my car. I would buy again.

After a bit of difficulty getting used to the Sat nav. It worked a treat. Especially with lane assist. Goodproduct

Just received this gps today.Can anyone help with the start up procedure please ?It's been on charge overnight now and nothing is happening it.No sign of being able to switch on ?Can I return it for a complete refund !

sat nav is ok but dont like the bracket seems a bit heavy for the bracket

Not used a great deal but programmes ok. Had to log as a lorry as opposed to MH but not a problem. Accepted sizes. For the price it's incredible. Paid £240 for last one in the sale and never been great.

Wir sind damit fast 5.000 km durch den Westen USA gefahren und das Navi hat auch die entlegensten Stellen gefunden.Bei Geschwindigkeitsangaben ist es auch sehr genau, sagt rechtzeitig an wenn man zu schnell wird.

Für den Preis bin ich sehr zufrieden. Überpünktliche Lieferung, Zusteller sehr freundlich.Das Montieren war etwas unpraktisch. Ließ sich nicht ohne mehrmaliges Nachstellen befestigen. Die Funktion des Navis ist gut. Bedienung leicht, wenn man es Mal raus hat. Nur die Zeit einstellen ist etwas umständlich. Verschiedene Stimmen, ich habe mir eine lautere ausgesucht, dass ich es besser verstehe. Auf Kurzstrecken leitet es einen sehr gut. Bin schon gespannt, wie es auf weiteren Strecken ist. Kann es empfehlen, würde es wieder kaufen.

The media could not be loaded.  L'allumage avec transfo était ok (ce qui m'a permis de préparer le GPS de chez moi...) mais une fois mis dans la voiture, le GPS ne voulait plus s'allumer jusqu'à ce que je retire la carte microSD ... c'est fou !Outre les grandes difficultés pour arriver à trouver les villes près de chez moi (et non en Albanie comme proposé systématiquement), un trajet qui est de 15 mn en ligne droite s'est transformé en des trajets (même en "économique") de 45 mn et plus (un minimum de 40 km pour une distance "à vol d'oiseaux" d'à peine 10/15km (grand max)... ça, c'est pour les trajets proposés !Côté contrôle de vitesse, sur une même route à vitesse constante (avec limiteur correct !) le GPS annonce tantôt 90 km/h tantôt 50 km/h (et s'affiche en "dépassement de vitesse")... (cf. la vidéo = prise de risque mais ça valait le coup !)L'affichage s'est changé en cours de parcours (sans que je n'ai touché l'écran alors que j'étais en train de rouler !!!) ce qui rend ce GPS dangereux ! De même, le zoom d'affichage est trop faible et n'était pas toujours modifiable .....Et, pour la petite histoire, ce GPS était bien noté dans les comparatifs que j'avais trouvé sur le net avant mon achat... Moralité, à quoi bon chercher des comparatifs qui, en fait, ne sont que mensonges ou simple publicité masquée (c'est ce que l'on peut croire en fin de compte !)Alors, déçu d'un Tom Tom trop cher payant et d'un Garmin qui, lui, pour ce même trajet, me déviait que de 2mn (pourquoi, je n'ai jamais compris !) j'avais espéré être tombé sur un bon produit pas cher (dixit les soi-disant comparatifs) mais il n'en est rien !Bon, merci à Amazon pour l'acceptation du retour et de son remboursement ! Je vais pouvoir acheter un autre (mais lequel choisir ???????????????????????????????????)

Bon produit mais a des difficultés à se connecter aux satellites. Du moins, là où j'habite. Dalle assez réactive, bel écran mais pas aussi grand qu'annoncé, pas de critique sur le matériel ni sur le soft qui a l'air correct.Le prix est convenable, donc rien de majeur. Je l'ai renvoyé car malheureusement, à cause de la végétation je pense, il n'est pas fichu de faire un départ de chez moi. Il faut que je sois sur la route pour y arriver. Pas grave pour, je pense, la majorité des acheteurs.
