soupy but good
I bought 2 of these so that I could test one out at home before having it on the trail. The pasta is quite soupy. I started with exactly 2 cups of water as suggested, but some gets lost (obviously) while bringing it up to a boil. The taste is actually good. A little bit cheesy there is a hint of parmesan. I could eat as is with no additional salt. I wish there were more vegetables in this. If there were more vegetables I'd consider giving this a 5 but as is there is just way to much of a pasta:vegetable ratio. However, the vegetables that are in there are tasty. The zucchini chunks are actually a nice size and the vegetables taste like what they are supposed to. It is a respectable amount of food, however, I will absolutely add a little bit something else to my meal to make it complete.

Surprisingly Tasty
Dehydrated meals can be hit or miss but I'd definitely say this one is a hit. The noodles and veggies had a fairly rich flavor and the texture was spot on as well. If you've enjoyed the other Mountain House meals like Chili Mac or the breakfast skillet and are looking for something new, give this a try.Pro Tip: Use a few ounces less water to prevent it from getting too soupy. If its too thick you can always add more water.

Ooooh! This one was delicious.
I have ordered every type of MH (and other brand) meals to test them out prior to some bike-packing trips this summer. I eat them at work for lunch.First, Mountain House are consistently the best of the camping/survival meals I have tried, by a huge margin. 2nd place is way back there. That said, ok, Mountain House, stop with the 2 or 2.5 servings bullcorn on your packaging. Even on a sedentary day I can eat the whole thing (it's only like 600 calories) and not be full. That is my general MH stuff, on to this particular one:Delicious. Loved it. I'd use 1 3/4 cups of water next time instead of 2, for a thicker sauce, but the taste was great, especially with Tabasco added (which I put in everything). Noodles came out perfect and there were lots of veggies which came out amazing.

The perfect backpacking meal
Now I'm used to backpacking where you go to the grocery store and buy all the things you need, but that was back when these types of meals where terrible.Mountain house meals have been terrific this past summer for all five backpacking trips me and my associates took. They are light weight and portable. You just add boiling water let them sit for about 10 min and they are good to go. I love the taste I have tried 6 different ones and they were all very good and filling. my personal favorite being the beef stroganoff. Each package is two servings and that is plenty.I would say the only downside is the amount of calories per serving which would be nice if there where more, but it is still very filling. All in all the perfect backpacking dinner!Shipping was very fast

Woohoo, actual vegetable pieces
This brand of pasta primavera was best tasting of four brands I tried at once. It was the only one of the four with more than one type of obvious veggie in it and had, by far, more veggies total than the other brands. I recognized zucchini, red pepper, yellow pepper, peas and a few tiny pieces of broccoli in it. The ingredients said it contained cauliflower, but I didn't see any. It was also the only one of the four that thickened enough and the noodles cooked through when following the directions exactly.

They call for 2 cups. You need 1.5 cups.
Camping trip? Need something quick, easy, packable, long lasting? Want it to be tasty and delicious? Look no further. My fiance loved this as a dinner and would ABSOLUTELY get it again. However, this is one of those Mountain House products that call for a bit more water than needed. The soupy mess in the bag diluted some of the flavor and we followed the instructions. They call for 2 cups. You need 1.5 cups. It brings out the flavor, and makes it less of a soup. Regardless, will most definitely buy this product again.
