The manometer works great. I like the case it came with. most come with soft bags instewad of hard plastic cases

This isn't a multi-thousand-dollar precision lab instrument, but if you need to do some basic differential pressure measurement, it works great.I've used it in automotive applications to diagnose vapor-system problems with my cars.Also, because I was curious, I mounted fittings on opposite sides of my furnace air filter. After recording the value for a clean filter, I let it go all summer until I had the value for a VERY dirty filter. I can now change my furnace filter based on condition by watching the pressure drop across the filter.

A manometer is the type of tool you probably don’t need, but in the special cases that you do, is an invaluable investment.You could use this manometer to figure out air flow issues in the air intake system of a combustion engine or in HVAC applications or anywhere that airflow, very low pressures or differential pressure is of concern.I don’t have another manometer to compare to or a standard to measure against, so I cannot speak to the accuracy of this particular unit, but it is still very useful for all kinds of airflow troubleshooting setups.One example of how you could use this is to check the pressure differential of the inside of a gaming PC case verses the outside air and how well your fans are moving air through your case.For the money, this is a very handy, well made tool and will serve you well.

Comes in a nice fitted case. Reasonably accurate measurements. Only one decimal digit of precision, so not quite as precise as other manometers.Testing the pressure differential across my furnace/AC filter, this manometer gave me values of 0.5 - 0.6 inH2O. My other two manometers gave readings of 0.49 - 0.55 and 0.490 - 0.520 inH2O, so it looks like it's "close" but somewhat less accurate due to the lower precision.

Nice accurate meter – easy to set up – easy to read - bargain priceI set up a lot of T fittings and tested this differential manometer against my really expensive manometer and the measurement were almost the same. This manometer is a bargain price with great accuracy. I thought I would buy it to use as a loaner and not care if it was ruined by an apprentice, but it is such a nice accurate easy to use easy to see manometer that no way will I loan it out. The FXTUL Manometer is a well made meter capable of handling a variety of tasks most far beyond most of my needs or expertise.For some time I had wanted a simple means to test some propane regulators and monitor my shop vacuum pump.When I came across this nice looking meter I thought in spite of it's wide range of testing abilities the price was enticing for a Have it Handy Meter.I was impress by the fitted case and the feel of the device. The display is large and crisp to view, even in fairly bright light. It comes with one brass fitting, conical rubber plug, length of what appears to be silicon tubing, battery and very minimal instructions.My first use was to track down an exhaust leak on my car. I just checked the dual pipes and back traced the one with weakest pressure. Could have done it by other methods but this was easier for me and a good start to learn the operation.I next used it to check my workshop vacuum pump which I use for holding items which would be difficult by other means. For some time I was curious what the pump efficiency was between vacuum and output. Getting the readings was quick and easy.As I stated, this meter is beyond my needs and knowledge but I've used plenty of other meters over the years and I can say that while the construction of this may not be the most rugged, the display, functionality and price point should make this very attractive for the Student HVAC/technician/mechanic or professional needing a good sacrificial backup.

But the modest price made it reasonable to experiment with. Easy to operate, though the “ manual” is less informative than a novice might wish for (at least this one). For the what will be an infrequently used tool, the included hard sided case is welcome. It came with one latch broken. The handles were taped closed. It’s not clear if this was done with the knowledge one latch as broken.

The manometer that I received matches its description. I don't have equipment to compare the readings to know how accurate the unit is, but overall the Manometer does what it says that it does.
