I purchased this for my new grandson and I have now purchased one for myself.

This thermometer is bulky but so quick to take a temperature and gives a very easy to see digital result in 2 seconds. Great if you need to do frequent recordings. Very comfortable in ear, so much so that you wouldn't even wake the patient.

received this item today that had obviously been sent out before as the batteries were attached and there were memory data in the item from where someone else had been trying it. Not at all happy that I am being sent a used product.

This is an absolutely brilliant thermometer, really easy to use, very practical as you have the ear option or the head option, also you get the app where you can actually record the temperature, in case you need to show it to the doctor or just keep a record, it’s just fantastic, not only can be used in adults and children but also to check home temperature. It connects really easy to the app too. I would recommend it 100% it’s definitely worth every penny. I have used it with my daughter that has been really poorly and I didn’t even have to wake her up or annoy her because it’s not invasive. Game changer for us.

It can also be used in-ear by removing the plastic cover.Opinion:We can all cast our minds back to the Covid pandemic, and having our temperature checked as we entered a store. This is what first made me think about getting a device such as this. Obviously everyone had the same idea, as they became rarer than hen’s teeth. I was therefore delighted to be offered this product via Amazon Vine.I have never used a digital thermometer before, but the instructions included with this device are very straightforward and easy to follow. I started off with the Quick Start Guide, which is excellent, with step by step diagrams. The unit already has batteries inserted, which is a welcome change, so you simply remove the isolation tape.It has a backlit screen which is easy to read, although the display does not stay on very long.I tried it on myself and my partner both using the forehead method and the in ear, and both produced good results.My main reason for buying this is because my Mum sadly died from sepsis, so I am now hyper alert as to any potential warning signs. A high temperature is one of the red flag symptoms, so this could either provide reassurance or possibly an alert to a potential problem. Obviously medical advice would need to be sought, but I just feel a device like this is very handy to have in the home. I would also consider it essential if you have youngsters.Hopefully we will not have a further Covid outbreak, but again, this would be ideal to have in the home should such an outbreak ever happen again.I am very happy to recommend this excellent device for your home medicine cabinet.

I think every home should have one of these, crucial for accurately recording temperature, and very accurate it is indeed!So simple to use, add a disposable cap to the reader and insert into the ear and press the trigger and after a moment you get a beep and a reading.Perfect no wonder this is NHS approved!Not cheap, but reasonably priced for what it does.If looked after it will give a lifetimes service!Perfect for parents, so you can tell a sniffle from a potentially serious fever.
