My child likes it, I think it's good

The inclusion of the accessory pads for knees, elbows and wrists are very welcome and definitely give full coverage protection. These extra items are really well thought out with fabric padding balanced by hard plastic skid plates. The helmet is the runaway star of the show though and it really highlighted to me how far the design of bike helmets has improved since I was younger. This has adjustable rotary dial to allow really easy fine tuning of the strap around the crown of our childs head. It has another similar fine tuning dial at the base of the chin strap, it all just combines to make a set that our child doesn't resist wearing because they can easily tweak it to be comfortable.

So my 8 year old godson has just got his first pair of roller boots so I thought these would be brilliant for him. The Lanovagear helmet set comes with a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist pads which come in a black drawstring bag for storage. After looking at the measurements we ordered a small and it seems to fit him perfectly.As stated in the description helmet has an outer shell and inner shell with thickened soft sponge is fastens with an adjustable class and can be adjusted with the straps. The elbow pads, knee pads and wrist pads are have an outer hard shell and durable fabrics with breathable polyester meshes, which brings protection and comfort when work. He seems to find them comfortable and they are definitely doing there job, he hasn't been injured so far as yet, apart from the odd scrape.For the currently price of £25.99 for the S, black option I think they are great value for money and will last.

I got this for my four year old for her bike. She picked the colour. The colour in the picture I sent is without flash and it looks very pink. I would say it has a more purple tinge to it.The helmed it’s self is good quality. Thick plastic and plenty of padding inside. All detachable for washing purposes. The helmed is adjustable from the back so gives you a good range. I got a small for my daughter. The clip is good quality to fasten the helmed it’s red so you won’t nip the child’s chin trying to find it. Really like the helmed.For the pads you get knee , elbow & wrist. I think wrist pads are a must for children falling over I think a lot of people forget those. They’d re a good quality plastic they will offer good protection. The padding around the plastic padding is nice and soft & good quality. The straps are good don’t good Velcro on them they won’t come off when riding.Over all really good product. This is a great product for a child just starting out as you get everything. It will offer vital protection for your little one. Okay excellent value for money.

The helmet is rated ( ASTM F1492 ) for skateboarding/ roller skating and cycling ( CE en 1078 ) in Europe and the U.S. ( CPSC 1203 ). It offers good coverage front and rear with an adequate fitting system of strap, dial and buckle. The coverage is good but it gets quite warm if used for a long distance when cycling. At the maximum adjustment, the medium helmet fits me, but is aimed at teenage users, so is plenty big enough. No reflective decals or highlights on an already matt black lid don't help with visibility. The detachable foam padding is comfortable and the retention system holds the head snugly. The overall weight is heavier than more vented helmets, but it does offer greater coverage.The medium sized pad set is quite small if the accompanying helmet is meant for a 13-14 year old. It is however suitably padded for trips and falls at the skate park. The elasticated, Velcro straps have plenty of length for small elbows/ knees/wrists, and the outer plastic shell is quite flexible in use. Not robust enough for mountain biking, but good for building confidence in beginners to cycling or skating. At a currently reduced price of £21 for the medium set it is well priced. At full price it's a little dearer than other similar products.

My 10 year old nephew has started skating so I got this Lanovagear helmet and pad set for him, in the M size. It all comes in a black drawstring bag. Included are a helmet, wrist pads, knee pads and elbow pads. These all fit him well, with straps that are easy to adjust and tighten. The helmet has a good hard shell with nice and thick foam padding inside, while the pads are also sufficiently solid, with elasticated Velcro straps that stay securely fastened. My nephew says that they are comfortable and don't chafe. While the set is also available in blue, pink and purple, he specifically wanted the black colour - the downside of this is that it's not that visible, so I've put some reflective stickers on the helmet to increase his visibility. Perhaps having red, yellow or green colours available would have been a good idea - if there was a red option I suspect he would have picked that to match his skates.My nephew is happy with this helmet and pads set, as are his parents, and so am I. It's good quality, easy to use and reasonably priced.

I was impressed by this safety kit from Lanovagear.It comes with a skateboarder type helmet, 2 knee pads, 2 elbow pads and 2 wrist pads. It even comes with a bag to store everythingThese are predominantly designed for children and my kids really like using them. The helmet is comfortable to wear and is well padded, it isn't too heavy or bulky and feels soft when worn. There is an adjustable dial system to help with comfort and a adjustable buckle at the chin.The knee/elbow and wrist pads fit well, have cushioning on the body side, and then a firm plastic outer casing to protect from bumps and grazes.This seems like a well made high quality item and it fits my kids well. I'd recommend it to others.
