These are great
I bought these to use as part of my maple syrup collection process. I use 5 gallon jugs to collect sap from my maple trees. Once the jug is full, I'm able to cap them and put them in a cool place out of the sun without worrying about stuff getting into my sap.

Doesn’t leak updide down
Opened the back of the truck and the jug tipped over completely full on its side and did not leak. That’s a good product.

It is a lid... but not to be used for transport
I like the fact that these are sold, easy to clean and pop on and off without extreme struggle.... BUT with that ease... if your container is full... it will pop off... it WILL allow it to leak EVERYWHERE... it does not take much... after filling our 5 gallon jug with water we went to place it in our cart and that amount of movement created enough force that the lid shot off into the air and water went everywhere. I do continue to use them as I do not want to buy more right now... but i now use a zip lock bag and rubber band around them for transporting back from the store.... I do not really recommend them but if you want them as a lid for storage while empty or something like that, sure they work fine. I think some improvement on how they latch onto the bottles would need to be made so they are little torpedo caps when u need to move the jugs around with liquid inside.
