I planned on building a large pergola, so I ordered these brackets. When they arrived, I was surprised at the weight of the box they came in (I wasn't sure which Amazon order was arriving). When I opened the box, I was so impressed at the construction and weight. I initially was unsure if I wanted use brackets or use wood to wood connections. These brackets add stiffness in the joints, so they will be well used.

These pergola brackets are made of very, very heavy duty metal. I had purchased the mounting brackets previously and these are high quality construction and welds seem well done. Paint is well done as well. Love how this will do the sides and the down post all at one time.

We haven’t built the pergola yet but I really like these for that purpose when we start the project. They are well built and heavy duty. Will take pictures when we start and post later.

These are strong and heavy duty. The black paint finish looks good and I found no chips on them. These are made for 6" x 6" posts. I am still working on my design but will post photos once it's done.
