I'm an elementary music teacher and librarian, so I'm always on the lookout for good deals on bulk instruments. Kazoos are a great tool for breath control, to develop breath awareness and also give my shy kids a way to "sing" for me that's silly and not so scary.I was surprised at how nice these kazoos are. I've gotten some really cheap bulk kazoos where the seams are sort of sharp and the plastic is super thin. These are MUCH better than those. You get the best buzz at the lower end of a kids' pitch range - which is common on kazoos. But the caps that hold the wax paper in are all attached well. The kazoos themselves are a little heavier than the cheap kind and the colors are fun and bright.

We bought these for a carnival event as prizes. None of them worked. Every one of them made absolutely no noise.

I got this set of 80 Kazoos to give to my residents at work and try to get them interested in music! I thought this would be a fun way of maybe getting a little music get together at the assisted living community where I work. With this set, you get 80 kazoos in 8 different colors, 10 of each color. Playing music with a Kazoo, doesn't really need any practice at all...all you have to do is hum into the end and your playing music! I think my residents are going to love these!

Some of the kazoo didn't come with the membrane that makes the noise. They're super cheap, but they got the job done.

After testing three non-working Kazoos, they were returned.
