No llego completo.... Por fin ya llegó completo 🙄
The media could not be loaded.

Plesently surprised
The media could not be loaded. I live in the mountains of NC and do not have AC. I needed something to take the edge off the heat for a few hours in the afternoon (3 PMish -6 PMish) during the summer. I looked at and read reviews of a lot of different air-cooling fans. I settled on this one keeping my expectations low. The first afternoon when it arrived, I put chilled water from the fridge (because the ice packs it came with needed to freeze). I had to cover up with a blanket within a couple of hours. The next day, I started running this at 10 AM with the ice packs and refilled at 6 PM (on low). I have remained comfortably chilly all day. My cats love it too. They lay down right in front of the cool breeze. I have included my old outdoor/indoor temperature gauge. I live in an old house built before AC, so it is designed to stay cool with high ceilings and I keep fans going. I didn't get a baseline temp without the air cooler. But, in the afternoon, we suffer through some heat discomfort. If you are ok with the effort it takes to refill the water reservoir, freeze the ice bottles, and switch them out, this is a great way to cool a room in your home. It is also quiet. I am considering ordering one for my teenager's room, or maybe I won't. The cool air may draw them out of their teen dungeon, and I can spend time with my stellar human.Nitpick complaint - It would be great if the water fill access were not in the back; I have to turn the entire unit to refill. It is an easy workaround to the trade-off.

Great Fan
Love this fan! Needed something while staying with our kids who don’t have ac in their house! It is a little awkward filling the water tank….used a large pitcher and tipped the fan forward a bit….but totally worth it. Came with 4 ice packs to place into water tank. Lights on top of fan are a bit bright but not a big deal. All this coming from an AC snob! This fan kept me cool all night. Perfect for staying comfortable in a warm bedroom.

Breezwell portable tower fan model NDY-DT2
The functioality of the fan is excellent. Does cool a room very well. We do have issues with the design of the fan. Not really designed for seniors or persons with disabilities.

Not very powerful!
I thought since I bought one like this 5 years ago this would be as good. Wrong!. Our compressor in our AC went out yesterday. Put this in our bedroom and it's not very strong! High speed is comparable to low speed on out Osco oscillating fans! While the water bottles are in freezer (instructions say 6 hours) I put ice water & ice from fridge abd it's still not cold air! The water compartment doesn't open to pour water easily, you have to tilt to get water in, and not fond of figuring how to clean the water area as it does not open, just a slide on door like the back of a remote to open it. What a WASTE of $149, hubby's heading to home depot for a window AC on sale for $199

Great for dry hot weather
It’s hot everywhere now, even in the Colorado Rockies. This helped me cope with 90 degree heat. Works great.

Good swamp cooler
So far this fan/cooler has been working out well for our needs. We live in a very dry & sometimes hot area, which requires some kind of fan, preferably w water tho. This swamp cooler works much better than a typical fan. We have it in a large, open living room with vaulted ceilings & it definitely cools the area down significantly. It can swivel during use which is a plus and either function as a swamp cooler(using the water function) or regular fan. However, since it’s dry where we live, we have only used the swamp cooler function. Unfortunately, its not super quiet, it’s as noisy as a regular standing fan, but I guess that’s to be expected. It’s a decent size, but doesn’t require a ton of floor space as it’s tall, rather than having a big floor circumference. It also comes w a remote which is convenient and works from our couch which is approximately 10-15 feet from the unit. I think it would work from an even farther distance if needed tho.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is: price is a bit on the expensive side & would love if it had an auto shutdown when the reservoir runs out of water. Instead, you must keep an eye on the water level to keep the pump from burning up if it runs out. An auto shutoff would rectify this issue & certainly be convenient. Overall this is a nice swamp cooler & will hopefully continue to satisfy our family’s needs.

It's All About Physics
Product was delivered early. It is well designed and easy to assemble. The controls work well, and I have no complaints. But if you are considering buying one, keep in mind that any evaporative cooler will function based on the temp of the incoming air and the humidity. If you live in a desert-like environment, it is often easy to forego refrigerated air and go with a swamp cooler. That's because the humity is often in single digits. But if you live in a high humidity environment, swamp coolers will do little more than blow air.My first use was today. Room was 90 degrees and humidity was 65%. Note even close to ideal. Using tap water, the fan did almost nothing to cool my workspace. So I bought some ice. That caused the air to get much cooler. It was now working. The problem is that the ice will melt very quickly. Far to quickly to add ice every time it stops cooling. Also, the melted ice turns into water that just fills up the reservior. So if you wish to go thru the hassle of buying and adding ice, be prepared to use a ladle to remove water every time you wish to add more ice.Overall, it's a nice unit if you if you are in a low humidity environment, and are only wishing to cool your area slightly, or just have air blown on you. Since it's a tower with about a 20" vent, it does a good job of putting out air, particularly if you put it on high (high, medium, low).
