We bought this to try and ride our bikes with the dog. He didn't like being in a basket. He's a 20lb dachshund min-pin mix, so long body, tall legs and he fit just fine. The only issue on riding the bike is the straps tend to slip off your shoulders from leaning forward. Easily fixed with just using a strap to keep them secure across your back. Wouldn't recommend for long bike rides as your wrists get sore, but around town, it will do just fine!!

I've been using this carrier to take my pug on longer, more strenuous hikes. The bag is sturdy and she seems to be comfortable. Pug weighs around 20 lbs. It isn't the comfiest bag for long periods of time or long distances, but for the price, it'll do. More structure in the bag would help distribute the weight and support her more comfortably. But for casual use, this is perfect.

I have a 13 lb long type dog. Think boarder collie hair and dachshund body. It fits her perfectly. She loves it. I’d say that it is easy to put on. As easy as you could make it. It’s comfortable. Some type of zip pocket would make it even better. I would recommend buying this if you need something to carry your pup around in. I use it hiking. If she gets tired I put her in it. I have bigger dogs and go for 7 ml hikes. She lets me know when she is ready for a break. What would make it super cool is if it had a way to attach a sun shield to it.

the shoulder straps very thing and uncomfortable.The carry bag is way too big around the neck and no way to strap tighter so there will be always a risk that puppy will fall out .Padding on the bottom is not existent which might be very uncomfortable for the dog.I love the fact that it has opening for tail, the material is good too.Since I need it and I cannot find anything better I would have to keep it.

The backpack is so cute, but when I was carrying my dog around and then he started moving around. So I checked to see what was happening and the side of the backpack was unzipped. The backpack can unzip very easily, as I am carrying my dog on my back I can't see what is happening, so to me this is very unsafe! I am just glad I checked and he didn't fall.

My dog love it, we go out for bike rides and my dog loves it. Mt dog fits great in the bag and is very comfortable.

My rescued girl doesn't like to walk on leash, yet she wants to be with us at all times. At first I tried one of those human baby wraps. The kind that is a long piece of cloth, a puzzle to set up on your body somewhat mummy style, hot and way too long and fussy. The dog continues to droop down once you got her swaddled in it.In order to take her to the Farmer's market, or similar venues, I got this bag. It fits her legs and chubby bum. She seems to like being in it, she appears less anxious. I use it to secure her for easier nail trims too. She doesn't mind so much when she's in the bag.It could be improved with a strap at the back, running between shoulder to shoulder to secure it from slipping off one arm or another and stabilizing any pendulum swing. But that's an easy mod at home with a belt.My dog needs some training to get it on her. She's a wiggle worm, but with two people one to hold her, one to 'dress' her in it, we manage. Glad I got it for special hands free situations, keeps her calm and we're all very happy together.
