honestly overpriced for what you get
I don't know if we got an old kit or what but the toner wasn't sealed because the liquid itself messed the seal up and it needed to be picked out of the cap with a needle, thankfully it didn't leak. All 3 bottles have a very strong smell, not great for someone with sensory issues. I won't say it's an unpleasant smell but it's strong and unusual. Main displeasure is definitely the "lotion" I should have read the other reviews, it is definitely NOT a lotion or cream, it is a pure liquid that has to be shaken before it can be applied because it separates, again don't know if we got an old one or not. Very difficult for it to absorb into the skin, a little goes a long way and it definitely should not be in a jar, it needs to be thicker or in a pump bottle. Honestly I don't think we'll purchase again

Not a fan of the scent
I really wanted to like this set, the fact that it is a black owned, small business sold me immediately, but the products themselves are just OK. The face wash and moisturizer are SO thin, very watery. The smell is overwhelming and for the price I expected more.

Expensive but It Works
I got this as a gift for my younger brother, who's never really had a care routine. He did enjoy the gift. The smell is nice, light and inoffensive. The instructions were pretty easy for him to follow and he has seen a difference since he's started using it. The bottles are marked 1, 2 and 4 to be used in order but apparently #3, the serum, is sold separately. I feel that considering how expensive this already is, leaving a part of the routine out, with no prior warning, feels disingenuous but whatever. He didn't really use the moisturizer because he dislikes the texture (it's really liquid) but enjoys the cleanser and toner. He has pretty regular skin, not dry or oily, so I can't guarantee the same results for different skin types. The products leave his skin feeling clean and smooth. He has been breaking out less as well but that might be due to age and not necessarily the products but every little bit helps. Unfortunately, due to the price, I don't think this is something he'll continue to buy for himself but it was a great way to get him started on taking better care if his skin. Finding products like this for young black men is hard enough so I do recommend these products for that alone despite the price.

nice kit
This kit is suitable for young men with normal skin. It contains a face cleanser, a toner, and a moisturizer. It is a nice set for daily facial care. Gentle to skin, and no irritation noticed. Then moisturizer is thin in texture, not as thick as a normal facial cream. It is plant-base, vegan.

Good for Normal Skin
This skincare set would be a nice gift. It has everything but a serum and exfoliator. However, for a young teen or someone new into skincare, this will be fine. But I would only advise this for normal skin and probably not acne prone because it’s not really fully geared towards acne or dry skin. This would even be nice for oily skin (they need hydration too). It is not cheap but it is a set and it is formulated to work together (since it’s all the same brand). I tested it and it worked fine and especially well at giving me clean skin but I did have to incorporate a serum, exfoliator and an extra moisturizer but I have very dry skin.

Nice set and does good job. Step 3 isn't included
This comes in three, individually packaged boxes (one for each item) and does make a nice set...so it would work for gifting...except that, when reading the boxes, this should be a set of 4 (not 3). Each box is labeled with the step it is to be used at (ex: Step 2 of 4) but 3 is missing, the serum.Anyway, each box tells the story of the collection's development, and how it is to be used. The instructions are clear and no problem to understand. The first, the Cleanser, comes in a pump bottle. The directions say to squirt a penny-size onto the hands, work into skin, and rinse. The cleanser has a herbal-plantish aroma direction, easy to spread and massage into the skin, no problem to rinse off, and even has a very, little bit of scrub to it. It does leave the skin feeling clean. The second, the Toner, is to be applied after using the cleanser, and it's stated that a dime-sized portion is enough to be patted on skin (which considering how liquid it is, isn't easy to 'portion' like that). This is a clear liquid, which has a nice, sweetish-kind-of odor (different than the scent of step 1). It sinks right into the skin and leaves a very refreshing feel. The scent does linger but is not overpowering. The third step, the serum, is missing from the collection. The forth, the moisturizer, comes in the usual facial-cream-type of container...but it's liquid-y and would have worked better in a pump or squeeze bottle, since it's hard to dip out with the fingers. It has a yellowish color and the odor is more in the direction of step 2- so pleasant. Due to it's consistency, it is a bit harder to massage into the skin than a cream would be. We weren't huge fans of this last one, but it did leave the skin feeling nice.None of the products caused irritations and they do their job well.

Works well
This set of daily skin product is comfortable to use. My skin is now more hydrated, smooth and with less acne. I'm satisfied by this purchase.

Nice set
I used this for the last few weeks before writing this review. As someone who has rosacea, I have to be very careful about what I put on my face. The first thing I noticed with the moisturizer was that it is very watery. It has a wonderful clean smell. Anyway, at first, using the 3 products, my skin felt soft and really good (my normal moisturizer is much thicker), but after continually using it, my skin kept getting redder and redder. Eventually, I just returned to my normal moisturizer. Now, as anyone who has rosacea will tell you, flare-ups can come out of nowhere, so not for a second am I saying it was this. What I do know, however is that my old and trusted will get me sorted.I will gift this to one of my friends with no hesitation and recommend it fully.
