It Works !!!
I loved that this product actually colored my hair without the hassle of going to the salon. No harsh chemicals, it didn't dry my hair out , it actually seemed to make it softer and shinier. I went to the salon to have it done and it literally lasted 2 days !!! The hair dresser was great about it and she actually referred me to this product !!! I was afraid of going all pink , but once I saw it I loved it - but then it literally faded away in two days !!! I was devastated, but this product brought my hair back to life and made it even pinker , it's AMAZING!!! I love it !! I don't leave reviews unless something has really fascinated me, well overtone definitely has !! I definitely recommend this product, especially for those who love pastel colors , or whom have gotten pastel dye colors from salons - this product will help maintain and extend that beautiful color !! Also, you can't beat the price !!!

Love Overtone and it's a bit cheaper on Amazon
I've bought Overtone from Overtone and happy to report this is the same stuff, not some shady off-brand. It seemed new, and not something that had been sitting on the shelf forever, as can happen when risking things like cosmetics or wet art supplies on Amazon. Overtone really is easy to use, they don't pay me I really think that, BUT, be mindful it is not dye. It isn't great for dark hair. The lighter your hair, the more intense it will be. Even their "for brown hair" line is only average, but, you can look on their actual website and see pretty good images of how it will work. I have found their advertising legit. My hair was bleached Targaryen White basically so it was incredibly rich and awesome. Use gloves, just so you don't dye your hands, it's not caustic or dangerous, and I recommend doing it on damp hair after a shower, don't get dressed, wait 20 or so, and hop back in for a rinseout. You just need a 20 minute activity you can do naked, a thing which will vary based on your personal preferences.I reup every 1-2 weeks, but I also find the pinks and purples wash out pleasingly, going from intense to pastel, never really looking bad, so you can go longer if you like. You don't have to rinse cold, but it can help, and you might get a bit of color on your pillow right after dying or if you go to bed with wet hair, so be mindful. Still, it usually washes out, not being so permanent or caustic. If you like intense playful color, strongly recommend just get professionally bleached then do overtone. I paid for professional pink once and it did NOT last any longer than overtone AT ALL.

Works pretty well
This does darken my hair nicely. The cor blends and looks natural with my hair. It is a bit messy. You will want gloves and need to be sure you don't get it on your shower walls. It can take some effort to get it off. But this does prevent me from having to get my hair colored so frequently. It bridges the gap well and my hair does feel soft after I use it.

good color shampoo
So I tried the Extreme Teal shade a couple months ago, and I was not impressed, but my hair color was fading and I had a delay in getting an appointment at the salon, so I decided to try the Extreme Magenta. It worked MUCH BETTER than the teal bottle. Very impressed.

This Daily Conditioner made my hair fall out!
Please do not buy this product. I purchased the "daily conditioner" to add some "ginger" color to my hair after having a process done a few weeks before. I am not new to coloring my hair and have used Manic Panic and Arctic Fox as semi-permanent colors, as well as other color depositing conditioners. I also had platinum blonde hair for years which takes a toll on one's hair, but it never fell out. I had recently gone to a natural light brown color and wanted to add some ginger tones. I purchased the "daily conditioner" because I had read the other more semi-permanent ginger condition could turn one's hair orange. The first time I used it I left it on for 2 minutes and had a nice color result. I used it again a week or so later and left it on for 10 minutes. My hair was orange after using the "daily conditioner" the second time and chunks of my hair started to fall out. I have washed it several times since then and it is still orange, the color is not changing. And half of the hair in the lower back of my head has fallen out (see photo). I can no longer wear my hear down and have to pull it back in a tiny ponytail to hide the huge bald patch in the back of my head. I WISH I had NEVER used this product. Please be careful with this, even though it says it is a daily conditioner the color is hard to get out, and worse than that it can cause major hair loss. I am devastated. Here is an update: A week and a half after posting my original review and several weeks after using the daily conditioner, my hair is still orange. I also had to have my hair cut into a "pixie" cut to match all of the breakage in the back of my head. As you can see from the original photo that my hair was shoulder length, now it is about an inch and a half long in the longest parts. Overtone saw my original review and contacted me to offer a refund, which I accepted. When I went to the hair salon to get the "pixie" cut, which I did not want, one of they stylists overheard my story as I told it to my stylist, the other stylist asked what brand of daily color depositing conditioner I used and when I told her she shared a story with me about a client who had used the same product (different color) and came in to have it removed, but she was not able to remove it! She also shared that she had seen postings about Overtone using carpet dye in their conditioners. Anyhow, I hope people will learn from my cautionary tale. Now I have super short hair and had to pay $75 for the short cut that I never wanted!!! Will take 2 years to get back to my previous length. Posting pics of the pixie cut with my face hidden so people will know this is honest and real.Update 1 month later: My hair is still unapologetically orange after using the "daily conditioner" twice 5-7 weeks ago. See updated photo with the purple scarf with pixie cut which I had to do because this product made my shoulder length hair fall out!!! You can also see breakage at the top of my head where there are a few strands standing straight up an inch or so.Please do not use this product, look up The Better Business Bureau reviews for Overtone, the ginger color seems to be the main complaint for their colors, though there are others. I will continue to post hair updates on this sad hair loss journey, thanks to Overtone.

Not the right color
Product was sealed but turned my daughter’s hair red! Then faded to pink. No hint of brown at all. Her hair is natural brown and wanted to even it out because she had lighter pieces. Had to have it professionally corrected. Gave it 3 stars because first bottle never showed but they did replace it.

Adds a lot of color. Very slow to fade.
I used this the brighten my red and blond streaks. Completely covered blond. Very bright and only faded after first shampoo, so lasts a while.

Looking for a change? Look NO FURTHER.
I am constantly changing up my hair, c'mon ladies, you know how it is. But do we really want all those chemicals? No! Enter stage left, Overtone. With this incredible smelling stuff (minty) you can literally condition your hair to another color. Leave it on for 5 minutes? Perfect posey pink. 10 minutes? WILD CHILD. Fades in a few washes and voila you're ready for another color!
