These vinyl-dipped football thigh pads from Schutt will definitely get the job done out on the field. They're durable, comfortable to wear and offer a fairly substantial amount of protection. However, I do have a couple of complaints. The first is about the price. These are nice thigh pads but you could get better for $20. Second, they're not the thickest thigh pads out there, so maybe not the best for RBs or other players who get hit in the legs head-on. Also, you'll obviously need a girdle with pockets to put these in, but keep in mind that these are fairly wide thigh pads, so they may not fit very well in some girdles with narrower pockets. Not a complaint but just something to know

These are exactly as pictured. My only complaint is that you can see the “schutt” text on the thigh pad when you’re wearing them in white pants

I purchased these for display, not for play, but with the construction, I feel like I could play using these pads. Slipped them into a pair of pants and tried various tests against my thighs and they're very sturdy. These pads are built with a tough plate in the middle like all good thigh pads, and the large size covers the thigh completely. Look great on my display model too!

These are massive, thickly padded, and insanely protective. I love these things for the way they fit my large size and how protective they are. I know these are more of a large "classic" style of thigh pad aren't everybody cup of tea, but the protection provided is awesome.
