Sarah Wells Abby Breast Pump Bag with Real Leather Straps (Black)

I wanted to wait to review this until I used it for a while. I want to start by saying some negative reviews on here almost convinced me to buy a cheaper version, but in a weak moment when I was packing for a trip with an 8-week old I realized I didn't have a good bag to pack my pump in and so I hit "purchase." I have zero regrets! I take this to work every day and I've been back to work for almost six months, and the bag looks great! I travel with it on trips and I've used it on the weekends coaching for a whole day. I use a Spectra and I have a 15" Macbook Pro. There is no sign of wear AT ALL! And trust me, I am hard on bags. I like my purses to be real leather and I use the same one for a few years until it's beaten up and I NEED a new one (favorites have been fossil, kate spade, etc..). Here are my highlights:1. It doesn't scream "THIS IS MY PUMPING BAG" -- I love that it looks like a regular bag. The gold details are just enough to make it not boring. It looks professional and can easily be used as a diaper bag when I don't want it to be a briefcase.2. The top zipper - shove everything in and zip it closed.3. The size - big enough for my pump in one compartment, my parts in the other, my laptop in the sleeve, and then I can shove extra milk bags, my nursing cover, hands free bar, and a bunch of other stuff (even my lunch if I don't want to zip it) and I'm not carrying 3 bags.4. The pockets - easy to organize and I can find everything fast. I even use the pocket that's meant for a rolling suitcase handle for folders ! I love the little front pocket for my phone and the elastic pockets on the inside for stuff! The spot for my pump is just big enough that I can twist my pump to the side to charge it. I almost NEVER take it out of this bag.5. The straps - tote style or messenger style. I love the option of both. I think I use it both ways daily.6. The quality - the handles are sturdy, the fabric is thick, and the zippers are quality. None of the brown parts on my bag are cracking like I saw in some reviews.I seriously think I would continue to use this bag after I'm done pumping as a weekender bag or a travel briefcase (when I need more stuff than just for an 8 hour day). I'm so happy I splurged on this.

While I was initially a bit turned off by the price, this bag is TOTALLY worth it! Thanks to this bag I have a spacious and stylish new work bag that easily conceals my Spectra S1 pump, my cold gold cooler bag, and my pumparoo with parts. This bag makes pumping set up and clean up a breeze. I have been able to pump literally anywhere keeping the pump in the side pocket. Definitely has made the return to work and pumping so much easier and more discrete. I've also gotten many compliments on the bag just as a nice looking bag from complete strangers. Bag hasn't felt too big or heavy with 1 month use so far. I would strongly recommend this product and will consider purchasing for all my pumping and working new mama friends

This bag seems very large, and yet doesn't hold as much as I'd like. I think it's due to there being two different sized pump pockets--the one I'm not using folds up but it's still kind of bulky. The interior pockets are also a little too large to be useful (stuff gets lost in them). Still, it looks nice/professional for work. It comfortably fits my spectra pump, a laptop, a small cosmetics case, and some pump accessories (bags, wipes, marker). But it's a struggle to also fit my Sarah Wells cooler bag with bottle/flanges, and a water bottle, and still zip it. Can fit a few snacks but not a full lunch. I really wish it had an exterior water bottle pocket, and for the price, they could make two different bags with the different sized pockets.

This bag was phenomenal for traveling while needing to take my pumps. I also had the cold gold chiller and it fits perfectly in the bag with a pump on the other side and kept my milk cold!! My spectra fit perfectly and still had room for more things in the bag! Highly recommend and well worth the money!

I've been using this bag for 6 months, and I love it more and more each day. I did a TON of research on pump bags before deciding on the Sarah Wells "Abby" bag. It has so many thoughtful details, you can tell it was designed by a pumping mama:- a pocket for my Spectra S2- a pocket for my milk cooler (I have the Medela 4-bottle cooler)- a side sleeve for my laptop- 2 interior pockets to keep accessories organized (phone, wallet, keys, chapstick, etc)- 2 exterior pockets (one which converts into a caddy strap, for carrying atop rollaboard luggage)- plus TONS of interior space for flanges, pumping bra, my lunch, etc. I've even taken this bag on an overnight business trip, no additional luggage necessary!- AND it’s fairly insulated to help keep stuff cold- AND it’s not fugly

The marketing really oversells what can fit inside of it. I was able to fit the following, and anything more would probably keep it from closing.1. Spectra S1 and charger2. One set of spectra bottles3. Ceres Chill bottle4. Pump Wipes5. iPad Pro (the largest one) in the laptop pocket plus a page turning pedal (I’m a musician)5. Kindle Paperwhite6. One thin notepad7. One pencil case8. Glasses case9. Wallet in outside pocket10. Multi usb charger in outside pocket11. Power bank in outside pocketThese are all things I need for work/travel, so a bit of a bummer that there is not an inch more room for extras that would make me more comfortable as a nursing mother. In addition to that, it really doesn’t look as nice as I thought it would. The leather and zipper hardware feel a bit cheap, and when the iPad is in the associated pocket, the side pocket with my Spectra is very hard to close. I think it is putting a lot of stress on the zipper to have something in the laptop pocket.It’s all right, and at least the shoulder strap is comfortable. I will see how it works as a carryon, but pretty disappointed overall. I would, instead of investing in this bag, put that money into getting a smaller pump and buy more versatile bag that can be used in the future.

Great quality and actually fits everything I need for work.. my s1 pump, accessories, lunch and laptop - well worth the price tag.
