Bought as a gift and they loved it. Super beautiful lights work nicely. The hour glass is a little faulty but over all very nice.

On time delivery. Hour glass works, flips stiffly, which is good so that it won't flop over easily. Solid weight. I found out that the battery compartment slides open/close, not obvious, away from on/off button. Music clear and loud. Multiple songs.

The plastic hour glass was broken and the snow globe doesn’t work

This is a decorative piece with a small snow globe and a sixty-second hourglass timer. It comes fully assembled and is well-packaged to protect the snow globe and the hourglass timer. The listing page suggests that the hourglass timer is removable, but there are no instructions with the unit and I do not see an obvious way to remove the hourglass without breaking it. The piece comes with two AAA batteries that go in the bottom. When you flip a switch on the bottom, a musical tune (which sounds like a generic music box melody) plays, and a light under the snow globe illuminates. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn the light on without playing the music. That is what knocks it down a star for me. Ultimately, it is a nice-looking piece that is perfect for displaying on a desk or bookshelf.

As soon as I saw it, I had to have it! It was a unique snow globe and I collect snow globes. The swiveling hourglass is beautiful and functional. The globe lights up and plays music. It gives literary and international architecture vibes, so it is an imaginative and elegant paperweight.
