I don't like how the lamp cover is so shallow where the bulbs sticks out .. aesthetics matter and in this case its not really eye pleasing. The mounting bracket is a bit flimsy and even though it attaches to the standard 3 inch outside light box the housing of the light it self is too big .. I'm too lazy to return because I already installed it but as soon as it fails I will replace it with something better .. this will do for now but I do not recommend it

I've been doing small upgrades to my tiny old house, and stumbled across these babies, which seem to be all the rage nowadays. I have a similar look in my kitchen but attached to a fan, so I figured I could stretch the design element to my outside, where my motion detector light is on its last leg. The installation came with everything you need, all the screws, plates, wires, and is insanely easy to install, as the light itself is very lightweight (surprisingly so, because it just LOOKS heavy). It's a very solid piece and it's super easy to install yourself even standing on a ladder. Because of the hood over the light, it really does illuminate my entire back yard, and the motion is VERY sensitive, even at the steeple of my breakfast nook which is about attic height on my one-story house. It's so chic and so simple and so pretty to just add a little pop to my worn out looking house. It only looks expensive, but it's very well put together, the light itself is tightening so there is no drip on the light itself, even being exposed to the elements, and it's such a cool farmhouse chic look that I can't stop going outside and checking it out at night, just to congratulate myself for being such a designer. It's a quality light that fits well, installs with ease, and looks great to boot.

Installed this on the front of our house above our garage. Replaced a 20-year-old out of date light. Super easy to install following the instructions. Build quality is nice. Got a super bright bulb, and it lights up the whole front area of our house. The sensor works really well. It doesn't come on until it is almost dark, and it turns off when it starts getting light out. Can't beat it for this price range.

Upon initial opening of the package I was blown away about how well it was packed. The matte texture and heavyweight quality of the product makes the fixture feel more expensive than it is. It has a modern farmhouse feel with an industrial touch. The installation process was quite simple and the photo/text instructions were easy to follow. I paired it with special bud resistant lights and love the feel. I may explore Edison bulbs in the future.

I got a larger sized version of this light and liked it so much I wanted another one for another house entrance. I got this smaller one because a larger one wouldn't fit over that door. Installation was straightforward and the directions were very clear and helpful. I really like the black matted metal. A polished light fixture would lose its shine very quickly outside. I really like the simple goose neck design. It really does remind me of a light you would see over a barn. It's a simple design but in a sense it's stylish because it captures that pastural look. I really like how this light comes on at dusk and goes off at dusk. I never have to worry about turning on and off the porch light anymore! This seems kind of expensive for such a simple looking light, but I think it's worth it.

This light it great and looks amazing. Works really good. We had a problem with the metal t that holds the light to the house. If we installed it as a t it blocked the sensor and made it so the lights were up against the house. So we just screwed it to the house and then finished putting the light on and it works great! They look amazing and I am so glad that we got these!

Looks great, takes a standard bulb. Install took about 10 mins max. Arrived well packaged, included all mounting hardware and instructions were clear. Happy with this light
