TV Antenna for Smart TV Indoor

I have an occasional use TV that I did not need an expensive antenna. This serves the purpose for strong signals but is not good for weaker stations. I wish the cord were longer. You cant use any cable extension on it. I'll get cable or satellite later.

Was not the easiest to set up for us as it was hard to get a good place for the antenna. It maybe our location but it doesn’t receive a lot of stations.

Note: this thing works as advertised. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the wire isn’t long enough to send upstairs and try to get a new sightline.I live surrounded by hills. I can get about 5 channels in one direction and 12 channels in the other as high as it will go in a window in my living room. I’m happy with the purchase as it gives you emergency tv(still has value) but I wish there was a longer cable - maybe 10 feet longer honestly.

This product is good looking and seems well made. My problem comes from performance. I am in a rural community in the eastern piedmont region of North Carolina — relative lowlands with no significant hills. My old antenna is picking up 3 main OTA channels and a number of ancillary channels that transmit through those broadcast towers, nothing over 30 miles away which it is rated as. This antenna is stated to have a potential range of 350 miles which I knew wasn’t going to happen or I would get reception from Atlanta GA to DC. But I was hoping to get a couple of channels that have towers 40 to 50 miles away. Placing this antenna in the same (only viable) locations as my older one, it picked up no more channels than my old one. No joy in returning it, but if it’s no improvement, why waste the money?

Got it for watching football, but it got more channels than expected. Very good picture and well worth the purchase.

Based on antenna reviews & specs we thought this was a great deal! We live in a rural area & the closest major TV stations are over 35 miles away. Our area is hilly with multiple cell towers and planes flying overhead. We got less stations than we previously had on our old antenna than this one. We tried multiple positions for the antenna, bought a filter to filter out cell tower signals & no difference so we returned it to Amazon! Amazon was great in refunding us our money in a timely manner. The antenna may be great for people closer to TV stations but not for people living out in the country!

I was so excited for this but I only get 2 channels off of it in my bedroom so it does not work at all for me. I waited a bit to plug it all up and it’s outside the window to return it so now I’m stuck with an antenna that does not work.My living room is a better I do get more on that one so I do think it depends on maybe the type of tv you have. The living room tv (the one it works better on) is a smart tv.

This is no better than any cheep indoor antenna. I bought it to replace a small whip antenna and it did worse. There is no way to unplug the main antenna from the amp so running it up to the addict will require a large hole are more cable. I did the more cable thing and it was no better. If your looking for a cheep antenna a short whip will work better. They are hard to find but I use one I got from a Computer USB TV tuner that I don't use no more. This was a waste of money for me and I don't recommend it.
