Works fantastic, easy to use
The programming isn't bad at all. It accepts many fingerprints and codes. It works in the dark. I'd say it unlocks in about 1.5 seconds once you place your finger on it. I even bought another as a gift.

Not a great lock, but very good seller
I had an issue with these locks as one broke on me after only 2 months. I was upset and replaced both locks as a fear that I would become locked out of my house. Seller was notified and very nice to refund me even though I was past the return date. Great seller to do this.

SAFETY ISSUES - BUYER BEWARE!
Summary:I bought this, installed it in our front door and used it for about two weeks. I have since replaced it because of the safety issues caused by a poor design. Similar to other reviewers, there were times when I couldn't open the door from the inside and had to walk around the outside of the house to key in the code on the outside to get the door open.Details:I bought this locking doorhandle to replace a similar one I had from Schlage which developed a issue after more than 10 years of use. The design of this locking doorhandle includes a button lock on the inside with a key lock/button pad on the outside. The lock is physically unlocked, i.e., the button lock turns to unlock; when the code is entered on the outside. In order for the door to be locked, the inside button must be in the locked position. The door handle will not open from the inside (or outside) with the button in the locked position, you must unlock it before opening it. This was a bit different and odd from my experience with the Schlage locking doorhandle. That locking doorhandle allowed you to open the locked door from the inside without unlocking the door. I thought it odd when I was installing it but thought there might be a good reason for it. The door handle seemed to work okay, although I didn't like the "throw" of the handles - seemed short and clunky, and the handles felt a bit cheap. Then one of the kids mentioned they ran into a problem where they couldn't unlock and open the door from the inside. I first wrote this off as "user error" until it happened to me. I turned the button to unlock the door and heard the beep, but the door handle wouldn't open the door. I tried everything I could think of to troubleshoot the problem, all to no avail. I ended up walking around the outside of the house to unlock it with the code. When the problem happened, I noticed the button lock wasn't quite in the full unlocked position - it was just millimeters from being completely horizontal and nothing I did would get the button to go fully horizontal.Conclusions:1. Having to unlock the handle before opening the door from the inside is a poor design. Even without the defective functionality, struggling to unlock the door could have serious consequences in an emergency.2. The battery compartment is above the inside handle which made for a tight fit with the deadbolt on my door.3. With the doorhandle always physically turning the button lock when locking (or unlocking) the door, I had concerns about battery life. But I didn't have the doorhandle installed long enough to see if that was a problem.4. There are plenty of programming options and the user codes can be between 4 and 8 digits long.5. Being able to visually confirm the door is locked from the inside (i.e., the button lock is vertical) is nice. With my prior lock, I had to press a button to confirm if the door was locked or unlocked.Wrap up: I replaced this locking doorhandle with one by Quickset instead which had the good features of this doorhandle without any of the problems. I don't suggest buying this locking doorhandle.

Very difficult to use.
The media could not be loaded. I have to return it. It is very difficult to unlock and open it. Sometime you have to lift the level up to make it work, sometimes lifting the level up not even help. Once have to run out to unlock it from outside.

Would recommend
Got this for our office and although it was a pain to install only because the instructions weren't specific like which way to put the plate on etc, but other than that, it works and looks great!

Great lock for the price.
This door lock was not easy to install mainly because the instructions left much to be desired. That being said it is actually an excellent product. I love the fact that the battery compartment is easy to access. You don’t have to dismantle the lock to change the 4 AA batteries. The self locking feature activates after 15 seconds in case you forget to lock it manually. Remember to wait until the lock is deactivated before turning the handle to open the door. If not you will be locked in the house and have to open the door from the outside to reset the lock.

JUNK, Sorry, not sorry
I don't do allot of reviews, but sometimes I need to vent. A few months ago I purchased a TEEHO electronic keypad deadbolt lock for the garage door. It was easy to install and worked great, its still working great. BUT this TEEHO electronic door only lasted a couple weeks. It was on an office door, so when an employee shut the door behind them, the whole inside lock assembly fell off. I first told everyone there that somebody ate too many Wheaties, but after looking the lock over why it would have fell off, I noticed it was very bad engineering on TEEHO,s part. There are 3 very small screws that are screwed into plastic that hold the inside handle assembly to the door. The plastic busted off the main plate, so that is bad engineering. If you have one already, don't pull hard when shutting the door or you will have same issue.. Its too bad since the lock installed easy, looks great, and worked as far as locking and unlocking.. Had to go the Lowes and get a Kwikset so we could lock the door again. Maybe TEEHO needs to look at Kwikset or other locks, its metal all around where there are screws that need to hold....

Best lock I ever purchased
I purchased this lock for my office and was so impressed with it ordered another for my storage area. My nephew actually installed it which took less than 30 minutes and for me to program it took less than 15 minutes. The price and quality of this lock is not a disappointment and would recommend to everyone looking for a sturdy and easy to install and program lock.
