I am in charge of maintaining my bfs locs. I have tried several different loc gels and this is by far my favorite. Good hold for longer period of time. Does have some flaking if you use too much. However it’s been a game changer!

I like the smell, but the product left my hair with white flakes after drying. It is a gel and it left my hair feeling dry. It also did not hold my retighten hair, it unraveled the following day. A complete waste of money for me.

I've used this product many times when re-twisting my locs and it does the job very well. My complaint is with the shipping. I washed my hair this morning and as I was opening the jar to begin my re-twist I noticed what looked to be dried-up gold-colored flakes on the bottom of the plastic wrapper surrounding the jar. Once I got the wrap completely off the jar I realized that the bottom of the jar was split and what I thought were flakes was actually leaked gel that had dried. I find it hard to believe this wasn't noticed when my order was packaged.
