I have given this a review based on MY usage, others may find differences depending on what they get the drive to do.For playing / recording DVD - Yup does that.M-Disc - Yup does that.Software - I never used it, ended up using nero in the end, simply was not what i expected.Blu ray - dont know, never used it for that - typical lol.But for the DVD side etc its flawless. And thats what its been doing ever since i purchased it without any toasters yet.

So easy to install small amount of computer knowledge need, it took me less than 10 minutes to remove the old drive and install this on worked first time no problems.
