Primer & Sealer for Concrete Floors 2.5L

I bought this product to prep my concrete floors before painting and it worked fantastically. My floor paint went over great and I can definitely see the difference between where this wasn't applied before the floor paint ( I managed to miss a small spot in the corner 🙈, so I had the two sections to compare against each other.The only downside I would say was that when it dried, there was random 'bits' stuck to the floor, almost as if the primer was sticking up slightly. I am however putting this down to the fact I applied it with a cheap roller, and a very light sanding with a cheap sanding block soon fixed this.

Very easy to apply and use, although I did find that I used 2.5L to do not even one coat on a ~15m2 garage floor. I assume this is because I either put it on a bit thick (used a brush for the first coat around all the edges of the garage) or that my floor was more porous than I expected.I ended up buying a second tin to finish the first coat and then switched to applying the second coat with a roller. The second coat went on much thinner (not surprisingly) and I had a bit left over at the end.The primer dried in a clear hard-coat overnight or so and I was left with a dust-free and smooth surface that I then painted (using  Garacoat Epoxy Resin Garage Floor Paint 5L & 2.5L (Ash Grey, 5 Litre) ). Very pleased with the end result.

Fantastic product,great value for money and so easy to use. I bought it to use before painting my garage floor and couldn't be any happier. Very simple to use,you just pour the small tin of sealant into the big tin of primer,stir it well and brush/roller it onto the floor. It covers the floor in a white, school glue like coating but dries out into a clear resin. Goes on very well and I coated my garage ( aprrox 11 square metres ) in around an hour with a large brush,I couldn't use a roller as my floor is rippled and not flat. Absolutely delighted with this product and the finish it has help me achieve on my dusty,dirty old garage floor. If you are thinking of painting your garage or concrete floor,you really need to seal and prime it. This is the product for you.

Great floor paint, didn't need as many coats as I thought and definitely helped cut the cost of paint. Researched loads of sealers and I'm glad I got this one.
