Men's Cuban Guayabera Short Sleeve Button-Up Casual Embroidered Shirt

Let me explain -- I purchased this shirt because my father frequently wore this style of shirt, and family members decided to wear these style of shirts to the Memorial Service for my father who passed away several weeks ago. The shirt I ordered looked like it would fit the goal. I ordered the shirt on Monday, hoping that Amazon's 2-day shipping would have it reach me in time, since the Memorial service was on Saturday..However, when I was going to check out, I was advised that the shirt would not arrive for a full week, so the Monday AFTER the Saturday Memorial service. By paying an extra $14.95, I could get delivery by Thursday, so i reluctantly paid an extra $14.95 to ship a $22.00 shirt.Thursday came and went, no shirt. Friday morning, I wrote Amazon and the company, complaining that I had failed to receive the shirt in time. I left work early on Friday, to prepare to travel to the Memorial service.Well, it showed up Friday afternoon, AFTER it was too late. When I opened the shirt, it looked pretty nice. The stitching looked nice (which is the whole point of these shirts). Sadly, when I tried it on, it was way too small for a 5X, so I would not have been able to wear it even if it had arrived in time.Looking at the quality of the shirt without having worn it, I noticed that there seems to be a lot of excess fabric inside the pockets -- about an inch of fabric sticking up inside the four pockets. Other than that, the shirt looked nice and I would have liked wearing it if it had fit. I can't say anything about how it wears, since I couldn't wear it.In response to my complaint, Amazon and the Company were great. My entire purchase price PLUS shipping was refunded -- and they said keep the shirt. So, rather than sending it back, I can give it to one of my less hefty sons.I have to give the company praise for handling the problem about as well as possible. While disappointed I could not wear the shirt, they did about as much as possible to remedy the situation. For the price, the quality of the shirt seems to be pretty good, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. But if you buy one, you may want to go at least one size larger than your usual size.

This is a very good quality shirt. The material is thicker than other cheaper shirts. I normally wear a large so I ordered large and the fit was perfect! Do not pay any attention to the other one star reviews complaining about the material. It is a polyester/cotton blend and is very comfortable. May need a little light ironing after washing. There was no shrinking after washing in warm water and drying on medium heat. Although the color was much darker than what was pictured, I am very pleased with my purchase and I will be ordering more of these shirts in other colors. I am 6ft 2 inches and weigh 195 and the size Lrg. fit perfect!

It looked perfect for the wedding I'm attending in the Yucatan.Nice shirt, but it's a shame the creative sizing (as many viewers have noted) ruins the experience. I ordered a XXL and the one I got was about a 1.2XL I'll try to return and re-order. Hopefully, the XXXL will come in larger than the XXL. Hope springs eternal.

Not 5xl, this item is a 2xl.... It has false size label, false string tag and false plastic bag that all indicate 5xl, but the item is 3 sizes too small.... Do not buy as it will not fit..... I will complain to amazon for a refund.

Ordered 4 at the same time and got 2 Maxinos which fit well and 2 Platoon which were too damned small.

**Sizes are way too small**Beautiful shirts but the sizing is way off. I normally wear a 2XL Tall so I got a 3XL knowing most Guayaberas run small. It is still too tight in the chest and shoulders. Big & Tall dudes need to order at least 2 sizes up.

I've already ordered quite a few of these shirts. They all fit as expected, look great and are very cool to wear in the heat. I'm sure I'll own ever color before long. A great buy and very classy.

I was sorely disappointed as I opened the package to find a slate blue coloured shirt!!! It was not what I ordered nor what I expected!!!
