What a shoddy piece of kit. Took hours to put together, not helped by missing screws. The instructions are pitiful and following them the best I could, it doesn't sit properly on the ground. It doesn't close efficiently (or stay closed) and it feels flimsy as hell.When it stops raining, I'll let you know if there is any chance it might work, but I don't hold out much hopeUPDATE:Well my suspicions were confirmed. Pretty much rubbish. Wobbles around and doesn't fold out or back together properly. My advice, build your own out of scrap wood and add a strap or restraint to hold the wood in place. The one good thing are the teeth to hold the wood, if only there was a gap between the supports for general use and smaller wood.

I need a saw horse to cut logs. I do this outside. This very inexpensive saw horse does what I want. And it folds away nice and flat. I need to be very careful when handling this item, especially when folding and putting away. The sharp edges are quite dangerous and I cut myself first time around. Unlike an earlier reviewer, I took more than an hour to assemble the horse. The right spanners are needed. And the "instructions" are non-existent.Just an exploded daiagram. The colour photo on the amazon site is the best guide. The price is so good and the horse is sturdy. Perhaps 4.5 stars would be appropriate.

Don't buy this product unless you or a friend have at the bare minimum an adjustable spanner and a Mole wrench or similar because you won't be able to assemble it. A socket set would be a great help. All the nuts are the self-locking variety which means they won't work loose once assembled but they do need a lot more effort to fit than plain ones. At first I thought the manufacturer had missed out the instructions but on closer inspection I found a single A4 sheet folded to the size of a postage stamp in the packet of nuts and bolts. It proved to be just a rudimentary and confusing diagram which was illegible in all the important areas, but the photo of the assembled product on this web site helps a lot. OK, that's the negative bit of this review over with. It's actually not difficult to assemble if you have the right tools and once you tighten all the nuts (except the hinges) the device proves to be surprisingly sturdy, and folds away flat for easy storage. There are some sharpish edges though so it needs some care in handling. Given the price (which includes delivery from Germany) is so low it would be churlish to give it fewer than four stars because it's capable of doing the job for which it's intended.

The concept is great for what it is but the package arrived already opened. This was spotted by the DPD driver who said it was nothing to do with them but he thought it was best I knew it was like that. Then when I took out all the fixtures and fixings the bag of screws and bolts was open and that meant they went everywhere. On top of this the instructions were ripped to shreds. I already thought it was going to be tricky to put together but without instructions it was even harder. I did contact the seller immediately and asked for replacement instructions and for an explanation as to why is was so poorly packaged but I heard nothing back. It took a good hour or so to put it together, which was frustrating but as I said the design is great and works fine, I expected more from the seller. Disappointed all in all.

It will take you hours to put together and you'll have to follow the images on Amazon as there are no instructions within the packaging. Will do the job but infuriating.

The speed of service was excellent - goods arriving within a couple of days of placing the order.As a self assembly unit the instructions were pretty poor and I found it really awkward to put together. Main gripe...if small sections of the metal supports could be cut away it would be far easier to tighten up all of the nuts and bolts. I just found it frustrating and difficult to hold on to the structure and then try and tighten the nuts/bolts with two spanners.Could also be better if the legs were longer. I've got a dodgy lower back and I find myself having to lean over whilst I cut logs - doesn't do my back any good. Saying all that the product is inexpensive and does exactly what it's designed to do. A few tweaks here and there and it could be a much better product - one I'm sure folks would be willing to pay a wee bit extra for.

Poor quality. Much lighter than description. Very awkward to assemble and not worth the hassle. Sorry to say I asked for and got a refund. Everybody lost out.

Fairly sturdy when assembled but the bottom cross bar isn’t right, design needs to be better plus supply longer screws through some pieces of screen
