The S'well mug arrived safely, and it comes as it is with a paper retail card wrapped around it.Straight away you can tell this is a more premium product as the overall quality of it is very good indeed. It feels well made, all the materials including the plastic lid are decent quality, the handle feels comfortable to hold, and it looks very smart.Using it with the lid on you can easily keep your drinks warm for a good few hours, I’m not one for finishing drinks quickly so I love that I can leave it for a couple of hours and it’s still warm enough to enjoy later on. When you do have a hot drink in there the outsides of the cup stay cool to the touch, only the lid gets hot, so this is where most of the heat is lost from.The lid fits very tightly onto the cup but the sliding mechanism does move a little too easily for my liking, a bit more resistance would have been nice. If you do accidentally knock the cup over then the lid will stay on, but liquid will slowly seep from the spout even if its closed.The cup and lid are easy to clean whether you do it by hand or put them in the dishwasher.Overall, I think this is a high quality, smart looking cup which I have been using nearly every day since I received it and I think its great. At just under £25 I don’t really feel its good value for money, even with the quality I feel around £18 would have been better. Apart from the price it’s a product I’m happy to recommend and I feel four stars is appropriate for it, buy with confidence!

This is a really nice looking mug with a decent feel and weight to it as well. It, very much, feels like a well-made product. The mug itself is insulated, but the lid is only plastic. This means that heat can easily escape from the top of the mug. I made a coffee in the mug and took it outside into the garden, on a hot summer’s day, at 10.30am. I came back inside at 11.30am and the coffee was pretty much cold. This isn’t great for thermal qualities in my opinion. It’s okay for keeping your drink a bit warmer than usual when round and about the house. For out and about though, I don’t really feel that it would cut the mustard. The listing says that it keep drinks hot for up to 5 hours, but my experience was nowhere near this at all. To conclude, a great looking mug, with questionable thermal qualities. I’m torn between a three or four star review here. I may go for three as it felt disappointing in terms of its main purpose in life!

ok quality, frankly speaking, expected a little bit more from such priced insulated travel mug.my mug appears to be badly insulated, i other words, the closing mechanism on the lid slides back and forth is not properly affixed to either of the sides.This makes the mug completely unusable during travel.i am not questioning the insulation properties of the cup as they are fair and you can expect it by default to be fairly good from insulated stainless steel cups / mugs.I would like to believe that it is just this mug that is not leakproof enough and hope that other mugs of this series function properly

Going in to this it's worth pointing out that I own several S'well products and most get used at least on a weekly basis, so I had high hopes for this mug to be of similar quality to the rest. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. The design and build quality of this mug is okay, there's a very minor rattle coming from within the mug, a fault that I've had with one of my mugs from S'well in the past. Additionally, the mug didn't keep my drink as hot as my other S'well mugs. Perhaps I got sent a faulty unit? Needless to say, I'm left wanting more and a little disappointed. Otherwise, the mug looks great and is functional.

As with other Swell products I have this has the same quality build although doesn't keep drinks hot or cold for as long as the bottles do but that's to be expected. The feel is very nice and it has a good large handle which makes it easy to hold. The lid provides a good seal and should prevent accidental spillages due to it mainly being leak proof, however it will come off if dropped or forcibly knocked over. As with all Swell products it is expensive for what it is and you're mainly paying for the name, however at the time of review there is a 40% off offer which makes it a more reasonable £16.72. I really like this mug and therefore recommend it.

Mein treuer Begleiter auf der Arbeit. Da ich im Kindergarten arbeite ist der Deckel Gold wert. Nicht ganz günstig, aber habe es nicht bereut. Vor allem die Qualität ist noch wie am ersten Tag.
