This brand makes lots of hats and I own a few. I have tried others and sent them back. This hat is gorgeous - light and summery for a delicate look, unlike many, extremely flattering and beautifully made. I love the complete sun protection its wide brim offers when O need it,, but turning the brim up like the pictures is the prettiest way to wear it.

In my advancing years in which I regret all of the devil-may-care sun exposure in my youth, I have now become quite the collector of sun hats. Wide brim, foldable, vented, cotton, nylon, reversible, ponytail holes - you name it, I've tried it. This hat was an impulse purchase based on color alone and it turned out to be the best choice yet! This hat has all the features of the other good hats (except the ponytail hole, which was never a dealbreaker) but the wire rim really sets it apart...I LOVE being able to manipulate the shape to adjust with the direction of the sun, and I can bend the sides way down so that my jaw and neck are shaded as well. The cotton fabric absorbs sweat and doesn't get all sticky around the band like the nylon ones, AND it comes with an adjustable strap which was a nice surprise (if that was listed in the description I overlooked it). Overall a fantastic hat and I will get a couple more for color variety. A+++!!

I have this hat in two colors, the rust, and now the black. I adore the rust color. I have a lot of hats, but chose this one for 60 days straight this past summer.My sister owns the black one and never loved it. Nevertheless, I bought the black one and it arrived yesterday. I don’t love it either. The weight is heavier and I needed to steam it to get the wrinkles out, which isn’t a big deal, but I can see that it’s going to wrinkle easily in the future. The rust color one does not. I have rolled it up in the balls and put it into backpacks and thrown it in the backseat of the car and it still looks great.I’m not sure I’m gonna keep the black one. What makes it stiffer? Is it starch? Or is it a heavier weight fabric? I wish I had a food scale and I would weigh it because if it starch, I could just wet it to soften it up. But if it’s a heavier weight, there’s no point in me keeping it. How to get a lot of rough use. I’m not willing to be owned by a hat.Actually, I just decided. I’m going to send it back. This stiffer, wrinkly one does not fit my lifestyle.

I previously ordered a plain green hat that I returned. This hat in burnt orange with striped lining nicely frames my face & the wired brim can be turned up so I can see when I'm driving. I feel good wearing it. I'm 80 yrs old & it suits my young playful personality - what was I thinking when I got that plain ugly green hat???

I just received the hat today. The color that I ordered is the red orange, looks exactly as the photo is depicted. I love the fact that it has a wide brim around it and then it's flexible to fold up or down. My only disappointment is that it is a little bit too big for my head which means when you fit it all the way down to the top or the crown of your head, you have to follow the back up otherwise it just pushes the hat forward and you're unable to see..Overall, I like the construction of it it's very well made. I have not yet tried it in the sun to see how hot it will get. I could have opted to go with a ventilated top and another company, but I wanted to have my head protected from the sun. Time will tell.Although the hat is a little too big for my head, I would still recommend it for you to give it a try.

I ordered the purple hat, and I love the larger hat space. I put my hair up into a bun, and the hat fit nicely over it. I pulled the chin strap up, and my hat stayed all day. I love that the rim is flexible, and wide. I was in the sun all day, and my face and neck did. Or burn.

This sun hat was very well designed. It’s very lightweight, Has a wide brim to shade the face and back of the neck and it looks really pretty! I bought the ivory With the subtle print on the lining. It coordinates with anything I’m wearing. I love the mesh crown for ventilation. It’s much easier to wear on a hot day because of this. It’s a fantastic travel hat! You can fold it completely flat and reshape it when you take it out of your suitcase. There’s a wire in the brim, which is very easy to manipulate. I’ve had straw, travel hats in the past, but they do eventually break down in the fold lines. I don’t expect that to happen with this hat. A real price performer!

I was looking for summer sun hats that were bit more feminine and stylish as I have plenty of sun hiking style hats. I especially like that this has wire in brim that helps hold the shape. Many floppy hats are very hard to see out since it flops down into eyes. This material is very lightweight, and the mesh material at the crown will help ventilate when it's hot. I have a larger head (22.5") and I was worried this would not it well. It is basically very fitted, but the fabric is not tight, heavy so there is some give. There are some adjustable small ribbons in the headband, but I don't see they would do much good. Even if the hat was large for you, it will stay on with the strap. My one small annoyance is the chin strap clips. They're metal and really hard to clip into the hat. Usually I see plastic clips that can slide easier, but this is a small annoyance. Once you finally get them in, you won't have to deal with the issue!
