The Re-Proposal

I really liked this book, I think Cody and Clarissa's story was one of the interesting storylines in the series. I think it might just like this couple more than the others.

The previous connection with Clarissa and Cody was hostile when hus brother Clay met Island. Now reading their own story in full was much clearer.I can understand Clarissa's anger either Cody to just leave her at Alter. The back story of how they met was from college and how Cody was fixated with Clarissa and how she was insecure of where she came from, homelessness, not having same abilities to get ahead without struggling and seewhere Cody got his confidence.As a charity worker for women to help lift them up and change their circumstances, she needed donations from corporate world, so going to Winifred as doing her pitch was vital. They denied her pitch, then she ran into her Ex the billionaire CEO.The relationship is backwards and forwards with them, Cody determined to get back in her life, she determined to keep him out. Cody assistant wants to improve his image by adopting a sick child for sympathy from public to boost the negative troll sites.Cody and Joel his Foster son, their relationship was hilarious their jealous banter over Clarissa had me smiling.Thoroughly enjoyed reading this intense story of Cody and Clarissa.

The twists and turns; the emotional ride; the real-life issues, and the escape provided dictates that this book deserves 5 stars.Great plot, very well written.
