The Toxic Avenger IV: Citizen Toxie [Blu-ray]

First of I got a blue case for this item it was new and shrink wrap it has a double-sided cover that is good and the film and extras are good if you want the film as you have the rest this is great to have my not be same actors in the part but its still a great film

Not for the faint-hearted. This film sets out to offend, and if, after watching it, you've not been offended or shocked by something then you just haven't been paying attention, or are so laid back that nothing phazes you! Features Lemmy in a white suit (not as The Toxic Advenger, I should add!), along with violence, sex, swearing and grossness - but all done with a very dark comedic edge.

This is an ace film.After the rather dire Toxic Avenger 3, I was concerned that this wasn't going to be that good.Fortunately I was wrong.It sort of ignores the events of number 2 and 3 and changes characters and details all back to how they originally were in the first film.If you watch them all, you'll understand.

PLOT..When the notorious Diaper Mafia take hostage the Tromaville School for the Very Special, only the Toxic Avenger and his morbidly obese sidekick Lardass can save Tromaville. However, an explosion results in some unforeseeable consequences, creating a dimensional tear between Tromaville and its dimensional mirror image, Amortville. While the Toxic Avenger (Toxie) is trapped in Amortville, Tromaville comes under the control of Toxie's evil doppelganger, the Noxious Offender (Noxie). Will Toxie return to Tromaville in time to stop Noxie's rampage or is he doomed to remain a second-class citizen in Amortville forever?After a disappointing third outing its great to see toxie back on track with an action packed forth movie, there is bucket loads of blood and gore and violence and old ladies getting run over and disgusting toilet humour and everything toxic you can cram into the budget, the cast is all change this time new toxie and Claire which is a shame as I really like Phoebe Legere, but we still have so much fun here it don't matter, if your a fan this version on Blu-ray is a must, its uncut and over the top Troma at its best!Blu-ray picture looks great in HD.Tons of special features to watch, hours of documentaries and behind the scenes, deleted scenes, you name it.Region free ABC, 109-mins, 2000(original release)Once again like part 3 the case has changed to a slim slime green case so it looks odd next to the first 2, and no HMV exclusive with slipcase and poster which is a shame!

Great film. Great blu ray. 10 hours of extras (including commentaries). The behind the scenes movie (over 2 hours) is excellent. One of Troma's best, up there with the original Toxic Avenger and Terror Firmer (which 88 Films should also release).
