The media could not be loaded.  Isopods are alive. Any self respecting animal lover would not endorse this crap. Luckily most people have the emotional intelligence and common sense to not use this product. It's like seamonkey watches all over again. Have some respect and spare the defenseless critters from torture. The temporary amusement is not worth it. Seriously, remove this.

This wasn’t designed to be considered their home, think it as a rolly poly carrier. People don’t understand this is not designed to be their home, it’s like taking your cat in a cat carrier on a trip. Do not give this kid bad ratings because you don’t understand his thoughts. I wish Amazon would remove the bad ratings because it’s just people not understanding the context of it. What kid hasn’t taken a pet bug in something less desirable, now it’s safe in its travel carrier!

This is a death trap for rollie pollies (aka isopods or pill bugs). They need space, food, and water to survive, and putting them into a small little plastic container to be thrashed and bounced around for days at a time will not only be extremely stressful and scary for the rollie pollies but it will also kill them. You can totally keep them as pets (I do) but you need to give them space, food, and water. No pet should be locked in a Tupperware to be carried around for days! Most kids even know it is not right to do this to a rollie pollie, shame on this company for promoting such a terrible and inhumane product.

This is not just a dishonest company torturing animals for a cheap buck. It's a creative young boy with a healthy love for his pets and a desire to share his mobile "ESA" idea with others. He clearly knows what they require to be happy and healthy. A couple of them can't safely live in a small container for a day? Then explain how they always arrive in perfect health after spending many days in the care of our postal service. Like all living creatures, there are some things that will obviously dehydrate and/or poison them. It's the responsibility of every pet owner to research and know what those things are. They did mention the need to provide a food source, couple drops of water (which will also help provide necessary humidity) and nobody said not to add a little substrate which would help reduce "stressful bouncing around" We raise plants and animals for slaughter, spray/trap our homes to eliminate "pests" keep dogs in crates, trap exotic pets in zoos etc. and we choose to get bent out of shape over keeping a pill bug in a small container for a day. It's not like they said you should keep them in there long term. Saldy most kids these days have no interest in nature at all and I simply don't understand why we feel the need to leave such nasty reviews and crap all over A CHILD'S creativity and idea to carry his pet around for a day if it makes him smile. Regardless of my opinions, I am happy to report my container of new friends all arrived happy, healthy and very well packaged! They will certainly live a good life in my bioactive terrarium and personally I'm proud of this motivated young business minded individual. 👍

Been an isopod breeder/collector for years. They need WAY more space than this. Being bounced around in an airless space this small will most certainly kill them slowly and inhumanely. No shame to you for thinking of this idea (come on, I’d love to take some pods with me where I go), but this is a terrible idea. You are sending isopods to slow deaths.Also, the “they eat what you eat” concept also doesn’t work. There are many foods that we commonly eat that are toxic to them. I highly advise you to remove this listing before you get into trouble.

Anyone who is an experienced isopod keeper will know how disgusting this is. Isopods are not meant to be housed or carried around like luggage in these tiny containers. Let alone be fed whatever we eat. Only people who have not the first clue about keeping and raising isopods will be swayed by this. Hopefully they'll know better as well. You look like you have some nice species available. Please stick to that and not a novelty item that is cruel and needless.

While the idea is a nice one, isopods are not meant to be carried around. This will only stress them out since they will constantly shaken around with each step. They need a static (still) environments with proper humidity and ventilation, which cannot be achieved within this small container, nevermind inside a pocket.

I don't care if this concept was designed by kids. This isn't Pokémon; they're living creatures who DON'T naturally live in pockets. All living things require specific living conditions, and certainly the heat from pockets, constant bouncing around, and human food consumption will cause the inevitable death of these creatures. Please do some research before making a product involving living creatures. The "inventor" clearly didn't do his. Sincerely: someone who keeps and breeds isopods.
