A lot better than the original. Cheaper than buying a new bbq.

My old heat diffuser died an admirable death, falling apart after many years of service, and I thought the whole BBQ unit would have to go too - until I saw this. It didn't occur to me that these things should - or even could - be non-stick, but now I'm a convert! I don't even know if it's really non-stick but it sure works like it! Just a few taps dislodge most of the deposits left after one of my all-evening BBQ sessions. The remainder literally slide off! Really good idea, and really well made.

Generally I am very happy with this; however it does take a while longer to get to temperature compared with the original. Allow another few minutes and all is good. A minor niggle really and much cheaper than a new BBQ!!!

This is a great replacement for my old plate which had disintigrated, a bit expensive but a good replacement to keep my Outback Omega 150 gas BBQ running.

Note of warning for this plate: the heat actually going through the plate is more than halved. I didn't actually measure the temperature, but having used my BBQ for a few year with the original Outback metal "flavour plates" I am well used to know how things cook on my BBQ. With the Music City plate the heat was nowhere near as strong as before. I have to drill additional holes in the plate, but let's face it it was not what I expected...On the positive side, the fit was good.

We were going to trash the whole BBQ Grill because the original item just melted away after couple of years, I bought this item and its still working very well. 100% recommended.
