Nice unit
The cable seems well made. We have used it both for 120V and 240V and it works as expected. I have also used it with a 3 prong to 4 prong adapter for a dryer outlet and that works just fine. It is easy to set the current limit for the 30 Amp dryer outlet (set to 80% of the breaker, 24 Amps)The only part I wished was a bit better, is that the dust cap could be tighter. It falls off. The case is well made and it is easy enough to get the cable in.

Well made charger
I bought this as a temporary solution while I was figuring out electricians, permanent mount chargers, etc. to plug in to my dryer outlet in the meantime. It is very well made, and easy to configure to a max amperage so you can use it with lower current outlets. In the photo, you can see I turned it down to 24A for charging from my dryer’s 30A circuit. The cable is extra long and very high quality, and the aqua color is good for visibility. The case fits the charger and still has room for a 14-50 to 10-30 adapter I needed as I live in an older house. It is easier to wrap up the cable and get in the case than you would think. Now that I have a permanently wired charger at home, this now serves as the portable solution I keep in the car should the need arise.

Hefty, featureful, but still slightly toylike.
2024-03-30 Update: While this doesn't affect my rating, I did find I could improve the latch mechanism significantly by adding a rubber band. I've added pictures showing the internal spring I think should be stronger and the way I placed a rubber band to help increase tension. These are my initial impressions after trying it with a couple cars (Spark EV and Bolt EV). I will update this review if my experience changes with time.Pros:Very nice semihard carrying caseBright display with useful informationTouch-sensitive buttons for adjusting amperage and setting a delayClear usage instructions and works as expectedAlmost comically thick cable inspires confidence (see photos of my finger next to it and an OEM GM EVSE for comparison)Included 5-15 adapter is nice to haveCons:Carrying case is very big and I may not end up using it when travelingOverall set is very heavy because of the (likely overkill) cord thicknessLatch on J1772 connector is a little looseI'll start my detailed feedback with that last point. When connecting to either of my EVs, the plug makes a connection and charging initiates just fine. However, the latch doesn't click into place as surely as with other connectors I've used. The latch appears to close enough to make the connection, but there is a lot of play and I have to push up from under the button on the handle to feel like the latch is all the way down. I won't try it, but I imagine you could yank the plug out while the vehicle is actively charging if you don't intentionally pull the switch up to push the latch all the way down. I suppose it needs a stronger spring or less travel. It's also possible my unit has a weak spring and this isn't common, but I don't have a second unit to compare.Aside from the latch, I don't have any concerns yet. My Spark EV immediately pulled the 3.4 kW I expected (the Spark maxes out at 3.3-3.4 kW, either 14A at 240V or 16A at 208V with variation in between). My Bolt EV pulled a surprising 34A for a max of 8.0 kW according to the display, and I believe it based on the resulting charge time. No connector or other part of the EVSE became warm during these tests. I do not have a 40A-capable EV to try at this time.To summarize, I am happy with this for the price and given the feature set. I especially appreciate being able to derate the amperage for times when I may not need the full 32 or 40 amps that my car can pull or in case I need to use an adapter to plug into a 30A outlet (and therefore charge at a max of 24A). Unfortunately, the loose latch mechanism makes this feel a little toylike (the thought no doubt aided by the bright colors, which I actually like very much) and I can't give it a perfect score.

Great Charger for our KIA Niro EV
We needed a charger for our new Niro EV and reviews of the EG evgoer, both here on Amazon and the Niro Facebook group, were very positive, so we purchased one a few months ago. The charger comes in a great briefcase-style case with both 30A and 15A connections and a long, sturdy cable. It has worked flawlessly. As a ham radio operator, I'm also very grateful that the unit seems to be very quiet as far as radio frequency interference goes which is a very welcome bonus. We're very happy with our evgoer!

Price is right and it works as advertised
Easy to plug in to my 50 AMP NEMA 14-50 outlet and charges @ 30 AMP 240v - does the job. Wish it came with wall bracket so I can mount on my garage when I use it at home. Portable with long 30 ft cable. Not easy to repack into storage case. Like it so far - haven’t used 110V connector only used Level 2 charging. Saves time and expense of paying for charging stations - lucky I have access to 14-50 240v outlets at places I travel.

It worked automatically and has nice long length
I tried several of these cables. Some worked but were short. Others were a pain to configure. Others were unstable and only worked 50% of the time. This one (despite the girly pastel blue color) seems pretty tough, and the extra 5 ft of length is great. (most of these cables are only 25', not 30'). Very pleased with the product so far.

Great adjustable charger
Great adjustable charger. I wanted a charger to leave at work and this one fits the bill. It plugs directly into my 14-50 outlet. We are supposed to have 208V three phase power but in reality its only about 203V across each phase. The outlet uses two of them but this charger works fine at the lower voltage. I have another charger that says it works from 200V but it did not work so I got this one to use instead. The unit is solid, the cords are thick and heavy duty. The amperage is adjustable which I wanted incase I used it on less powerful outlets. It also comes with an adapter to plug it into a 5-15 outlet and has a nice case to put it all in to travel. I am very happy with this charger.

Review
Product is good. But I am concerned about warranty. Amazon says 3 years but user manual says 1 year. I sent email to seller but no response.
