At my fly shop each fly is $2.50 this set is every bit as good as those and represents considerable savings as well as convenience due to the variety

Flies are expensive. These are quality flies at a great price and will help you land a trout in your net. Would definitely buy again.

Solid set of flies for the price
Honestly a great set flies, took this box amongst other more expensive flies on a trip to Montana last month. Hard to beat these at about 90 cents a fly, they stay in tact, no loose threads. I would still recommend going to local fly shops and supporting them when you get the chance. The only criticism I have for these is that I wish they came in a fly box for storage. Anything is better than the display box it comes in, that thing really isn't suitable for long term storage. If they did that this would get 5 stars from me all day.

Tremendous value for the money.
Just placed my second order of these flies and was upgraded to 16 flies in a plastic fly box, plus one gift fly, for the price of a dozen. I'm a beginner fly fisher and I lose lots of flies because of it. It's great to have a solid product, a good variety of flies, and a great price - all from an American company. You can't go wrong with these flies, unless you are a snobby fly fisher person or really picky. I just like fishing, and I've caught trout with these flies. Enough said.

This is an easy, low cost way to stock your fly box. Are they great flies, not really. Do they catch fish, absolutely. I have. Good option to get you out on the water and started. Then you can resupply with higher quality flies as you need. This assortment gives you a wide range of flies to see what works in your area.They are barbless hooks, so be aware of that. Over all, it's a good value for a beginner and would recommend.

Excellent Trout Collection!
I really liked the attention to detail and the fact the best 24 trout flies were included. I was considering tying but no time living in the city and it's costly getting setup....made my tenkara fishing life so much easier!
