He’s good, but this is a block of sugar!
Coconut sugar is a great alternative to a regular processed sugar because it has low glycemic index for people who are prone to diabetes, or have high sugar level in the blood. This tub is just hard to remove the sugar if you literally have to use a knife or a spoon to you put your back to it.

Nice alternative to cane sugar
I swapped out my normal white sugar for this coconut sugar and really liked the results. The color of this sugar is not white though, it's a bit of a beige color so it could alter the color of your final product depending on what you are baking. I used it in batch of chocolate chip cookies and the flavor was really good. The scent of this sugar smells a bit like toasted marshmallow to me, but it wasn't noticeable in the cookies.

Second ingredient is sugar
I like to use different natural sweeteners and decided to give this a try. I was assuming it would be a 100% coconut sugar, but the second ingredient just states sugar and not its source. I have nothing against plain sugar, and use it as well, but when I buy a product that states it is one thing, that is what I want to get. The sugar in the tub is hard, you need to break off a chunk and heat it in the microwave to soften it enough to add to baked goods. The smell is kind of like dry, brown rice, and the taste has that flavor in it as well, it definitely stands out. To me it seems a bit of extra trouble to use, especially if it is not a pure product, and the flavor is a bit off putting. I probably would not buy this again.

Comes in a block, not granulated!
This tub of coconut sugar arrived in a VERY solid brick, which was my biggest complaint but the deep caramelized, coconut taste was great. Coconut sugar is a great alternative to cane sugar because it has a lower GI for better blood sugar absorption and regulation and it is also more sustainably harvested compared to that of sugarcanes. As it is in a solid block, the seller recommends microwaving the chunk of sugar to soften it, which is not a deal breaker but is annoying and sometimes messy. I really wish it were granular just for convenience's sake.Myn GloryVegan Coconut Flower Sugar arrived and it is in a big hard compact brick. It is not appealing looking. I expected a sugar texture not something that was packed and hard. I took a picture but see someone else had shared similar. Looking at the info for the product again it says “ EASY TO USE - All you need to do is break off a chunk of the coconut sugar and heat it in the microwave oven for one minute to make it soft and ready for use.” I don’t recall seeing that info before. I think better info on the product container may be more beneficial. This product may be good but it is not what I was expecting and don’t want to be crumbling up prices of a hard blob of sugar to use it. I was going to give this 1 or 2 stars but gave it 3 after seeing the usage info.

Absolutely Delicious! Must Scrape
This particular coconut sugar has a particularly delicious flavor, and it tastes so caramelly yummy in my coffee. I read a few reviews before I tried it and didn’t choose the microwave route. I just use my spoon and dig in gently to get sugar for my coffee. My photo shows the cake as I’ve used it.Since this is a hardened syrup product, it’s a little harder to work than already granulated coconut sugar. 4 stars instead of 5 as I prefer to work with granulated. However, this tastes better than the granulated coconut sugar that I usually use, so the extra work can be worth it. As a microwaved liquid product, it could be lovely for baking, too.Delicious, and lower glycemic than table sugar!

It is 75% sugar and only 25% coconut sugar
- I like to use sugar alternatives whenever possible and that is why i ordered this. However i am disappointed because for every 8 grams of this coconut sugar there is 6 grams of sugar which means this is 75% sugar. It more like coconut flavored sugar. I wish there was no added sugar and it was pure coconut sugar.- As far as the taste is concerned it tastes good and has a nice coconut flavor. I don't really have complaints regarding the taste. Unfortunately i cannot recommend this because it is not pure coconut sugar if you're looking for a sugar alternative and it contains so much sugar that i don't feel this makes it a healthier alternative to sugar.

Yummy. I really like this product
The Pad Thai recipe I have calls for Coconut Flower sugar. It can remind you of caramelized because when when you open the container it is not loose flowing but more in a solid. I just take a butter knife and shave it off. The instructions tell you break off a chunk and microwave it a minute. A benefit is it has iron, zinc, and calcium as well as a low glycemic index around 35GI. I use it as a daily sweetener.
